In fairness, I think it's been a very long time since any Ford dealer has had to do a 5 tire rotation. Even on vehicles with a full size spare, the spare wheel is usually a steel wheel compared to the alloys on the other tires.
If you actually have an e-mail assurance, I'm curious as to what that says. If it is clear that they will charge you MSRP without any additional mark up, I would think you'd be in pretty good shape. Much of what others who have been charged ADM had was lacking, often just a print of the order...
More magic. Select the Big Bend. Instead of selecting mid under "Equipment Groups," select it under "Packages." It turns into a Big Bend. Now change it to a manual transmission. It turns into a Badlands.
Thank you, that's helpful. That's the tack I would take then. Forwarding that document back to them and stating that the MSRP is what the document said and that is what you should pay. They only have that Bronco because you ordered it. It was not something they could have ordered without your...
It's not just how the dealer handled the order. There are two parties involved in this deal, the seller and the buyer. It's how they both handled the order.
The reservation holder could have changed dealers before placing the order if they could not have come to terms at that time. I don't see...
I do agree that many were naive. I'm not so sure the dealers in question actually said they were going to charge MSRP. In most of these cases, there seems to be an assumption on the part of the buyer that they would pay MSRP. I find that a confounding prospect. While the car market is crazy...
This is not new. People have been ordering cars forever. I remember my dad ordering an Explorer in 1995. Clearly a different situation but also the same in many respects. He placed and order with an agreed upon price. 2 months later, he got his car.
Once someone had a Bronco reservation, how...
I'm becoming more baffled by posts such as these. Why would one place an order for a vehicle with a dealer if there were not an agreement on what the price would be?
He should have said, "Go buy a Wrangler while you're waiting because those have great resale value, and you should do well when you sell it to get your Bronco."
I like the 2-door also. When the spy shots were first rolling out, I was concerned the 2-door proportions would be off, but I like it better once I saw the final product.
I do think the Bronco 4-door looks better than the Wrangler.
