I may be the first 4 door to get one. I have a normal black Diamond - non-sas. I will be sure to post pics. Their pics of it on the Havoc 4 door looks nice. My truck is a little more tame.
Any pics before the windows went on ? I am looking forward to running safari style all summer. Not a fan of the slant back, but I will get used to it, worth it for the pop up rain shower protection. I ordered a few days ago, but they told me 10 day lead time and shipping from the factory...
The eBay top came - the material is really good and thick. I broke a buckle but was able to jury-rig it with a zip tie. The back of it comes down too far like in the picture and there is a gap at the front of course. I figured this can be cut shorter and sewn on a machine easily.
Flapping is...
@mcinfantry - also I think I asked you before but for the sake of this thread. The first thing my wife will say is why did you change to a soft top that does not go all the way down. So if we want the all-the-way down or no top experience, is the rampage easy to pop off when we want and then...
You also have to think of the lightness of this top and that it is not using a frame. That is a big plus - and it will probably be a little looser than a full-frame top. I am getting used to this look.
Broncola - I had the same thought and use case - funny - let me know what you decide.
I think the floppy were some pictures out there where it was not fully zipped up. McInfantry is the local expert on this top - also with the 2 door.
I use one of these - I drive under, take the front and middle off, then the bolts, and I use a set of straps to hoist the top up with this lift. It doesn't get easier or safer. It is not motorized but you an connect a drill. Reverse to reinstall.
@mcinfantry - How are you liking the Rampage top? I am considering the top for the 4-door. I would like to run in safari mode most of the summer and this one looks great, as I can slide windows in at night to protect from rain. I am not thrilled with the slant-back look though.
My...
Ha - funny I just ordered one. I was worried about the straps going over the rollbar and obstructing the window going all the way up or stressing. I just tested with a strap to see if it would be a problem. Looks like it won't be an issue.
I haven't gotten mine yet - but yes I got it for...
Hi and happy new year - I was wondering is there a way to connect this back crossbar and clamps to an existing factory rollbar setup , extending the whole rack to be the full length of the roof ?
Yes - that is the way it works and it is the same with the number keypad as well.
Also - ever go on a bike ride and then realize you broke or lost your phone ? One ride I did, I came back, and the app said the service was unavailable at the time. I think I did end up having a key on...
