Thank you for the feedback! Yes, you can drop the top, do the install and move on... No problem! As for 1st position vs the 2nd, the 2nd position should be no problem. But 1st position, the width of the rack runs along the inside of the soft top so it most likely won't work in the 1st position...
Great feedback, thank you! We'll have to show you the lower base rail and die that we had to create. It's most likely overkill but there is enough steel and body support there for a half rack to work. I'll share the base rail tomorrow.
Not currently. The rack is designed around factory mounting points and secondly the positioning of a tent and gear. The rear section of the bronco has a strong and workable area that gives the best mounting points to help with weight distribution. This was all taken into consideration during the...
Not in 15 minutes but you could comfortably remove the rack in approx 30 minutes. Mounting points are only the front accessory studs, slip joint style connectors at the molle panel with 4 nuts/bolts, and just 2 at the rear base under the soft tops linkage.
