I'd like to thank Patrick D. at Wickstrom Ford in Barrington, Illinois. Also Stephen F. at Ford/Lincoln in Franklin, Tennessee for their outstanding service. I placed my order at Wickstrom with the MSRP promise...which was honored without any drama. I ended up moving before delivery and while...
I installed the struts last Sunday. Put the top completely down and went for a twenty minute drive. Kept hearing a tapping sound that was new. I had my son drive and I went in the back seat to listen for and locate the new rattle. Once home, we put the top up and my son saw the driver's side...
No. ICE have never been cleaner or more efficient than they are now. That being said, of course trucks and certain higher performance vehicles don't get great fuel mileage , but considering their output, you get a lot of oomph today. EV's are expensive and their argument for environmental...
Factories are great to witness. In 2015 while in Detroit the family I saw the F-150 line. In Germany, back in 1996, I toured the Porsche 911 (993) line. With all due respect, European auto factories are impeccable in brightness, organization and state of the art. Workers wear uniforms and...
I took delivery of my four door, badlands, cactus grey, soft top in early November. Never received the photo, but found the match on the site, so I get the vibe.
I was a day one reservation, placed my order in February 2021. Consider myself really fortunate to have received my CG 4Door, 2.7, Badlands, SAS, Lux, on November 11th. I had to change from painted modular to the soft top, but I now have 3.5K miles on her. All those corralled Bronco's is a...
Concerning to see that my engine number is within two engines of one listed failure and within four engines of another listed failure. I was a November 11th delivery.
Note how the Bronco's front, driver's side wheel rotates at impact but remains in the wheel well. The Wrangler's wheel rotates and goes down under the frame of the truck. This must also contribute to the launching effect leading to the rollover.
Thanks for confirming my hunch. I ordered in February 2021 in Illinois and moved to Tennessee later this summer. The ability to change dealers was changed at some point and I've been working with my order dealership to arrange delivery at my local dealership. You'd think that Ford would have a...
Originally scheduled for 9/13 bumped to 10/11. Checked status this morning and I'm in production. Window sticker shows a 10/14 blend. I was a July 13, 2020 reservation with a February 24, 2021 order. Originally, I was a painted modular top, but when news broke this spring about those...
I was originally a Badlands, SAS, Lux with Mod Painted Top, but once the delay to late '22 or '23 was announced, I switched to the soft top. Phew, glad I did, my 9/13 production was switched to 10/11 so I'm getting very close.
Yes, I don't know if it's federal or state law, but in IL damage to cars before they are sold, then repaired is not required to be disclosed to the eventual buyer. We had a huge hail storm a few years back. The dealership sold Mercedes, Porsche, BMW, Honda, etc. The damage was catastrophic...
I made my reservation back on July 13th, 2020 and placed my order on February 24th 2021. My order had the painted MOD top. As commodity shortages continued and the tops became a real issue, in May I changed my painted MOD to a soft top with the hope that I'd get my Bronco earlier. Then the...
