What did he say was the actual benefit of wiring it to the battery? Maybe one of the other guys can answer, but I am not sure if I already have it installed without wiring it to the battery its worth the hassel of wiring it to the battery.

Why would anyone wire it to the battery? I have it plug n played to the audio head unit and its loud as hell and sounds great. Wiring to the battery seems like a waste of time.

I found a Ford OEM soft top about a year old on FB marketplace with all mounting hardware for $1700. Is that a good price you guys think?

I am planning on buying a soft top from a guy that swapped his OEM soft top for the Bestop one. Does the Bestop soft top use any of the Ford parts? He attached these pics, I am just trying to make sure I have all the parts. @Catmandu

This is why I want a ford oem soft top - I absolutely love the look of it folded all the way back with the windows out. Seems like the easiest to operate as well.

Im starting to get sold on the trektop. The slant back is just really throwing me off, though.

Do you have the sunrider? How is the noise compared to the hard top? Any QA issues with it? Im not going to lie also, the color differential between the black sunrider and the gray panels is REALLY throwing me off haha.

I think the right answer for me is to get an OEM Ford soft top and swap it out each season - but those are almost impossible to come by and require quite the mark up (people asking thousands for them).

The second panel removable isnt the problem, its storing it for me. I cant store it in the bronco and I put them off and on so much it makes it almost worthless to even take off.
