I think they would have to issue a new vin....There were rumblings of this a few weeks back. Has your sticker been updated?
Where and what on the window stickers update through the process?
I’m still on chip hold as of today even though my EDD is 5/5-5/11.
It is super exciting to see so many get their vehicles this week though - Keeps that slight glimmer alive at the end of the tunnel!!
“Produced” means it missing components required to ship (could be chips, could be anything that prevents shipping it), most likely still sitting on the mountain. “Built” means it is completed and “released” to be shipped to your dealer.
So here’s what I do not understand (I assume I am not alone on this). Considering there are literally hundreds of people on this forum that received their Broncos that were built well after ours hit the plant, the excuse of microchip hold is total BS. They have the chips for those vehicles which...

My ETA was, and still is, 5/5- 5/11 since January. That date has not changed, but I am still in Chip hold status which makes me think it is impossible that it will be here between those dates.
Besides the chip issue, hard tops continue to be the number one commodity issue with the Broncos. When I switched my hard top to a soft, my order got scheduled shortly after. Not that it matters because its still on the mountain🤬🤬🤬!!!
None of it makes sense. I have seen my exact vehicle out there for sale, same options and packaging, many of which were built and shipped over 60 days after mine was “built” and I am still stuck on the mountain. Unfair to say the least…. Not sure how they found micro chips for those vehicles...
Well I must say, misery does love company! Even though I knew there were thousands of Broncos stuck on the mountain, I still felt like I was the only one (before now). It does help that others share the same frustration, and you are absolutely correct, seeing some get their vehicle still keeps...
