    Yes some ham mobiles have APO. Probably most new ones these days. Bummer on Midland’s lack of attention to features. I’ve never used one but they seem nice. I don’t need a GMRS but they are tempting anyway.

    Most ham radios these days have a feature called APO. It’s a fancy way of saying Auto Power Off. You can set a time limit if the radio isn’t active and it will self power off. Might be an option with the Midlands as they seem to be feature rich? Dunno.

    7/20 reservation. Yeah losing patience. Losing interest. Just now got back from test driving a Gladiator Mojave. Very nice riding truck. Not making my decision any easier to stay pumped.
