From what I saw on TFL Truck, it also comes with an integrated brake controller too....
Yes, I still am bummed the Bronco has the tow capacity of my ford edge, a Pacifica, etc while it is beat by a ranger, explorer, and the fact that the next gen raptor increased its tow rating...
Is this the Ziegler Ford in Grand Rapids area? Any chance it is still there (I saw the data you mentioned on the FB post)? I still have yet to see a Bronco and need to.
I actually really like this vehicle. I just priced out on B&P and my Lariat came in at $36k! Wow that's a lot less than the $58k Wildtrak I have planned. This vehicle would work for 90% of what I do, just not the remaining 10%. However, if this was perhaps 10 years ago where I didn't have as...
Well that is quite nice. Are you able to drive say 45 miles an hour or so with it up??? Just looking to see if I can make it work for those home depot runs and 12 foot lumber.
Say what?! A bike thread awesome! I am an avid mountain biker although I don't ride nearly as much as I have a toddler now. Started riding in 2001 and racing heavily as well. Now, races are just a few times a year and more for "fun."I trail ride once a week and generally every other day on...
Is it possible to drive around with that rear window open? I like the concept and would like to, but would be nervous about it shutting and breaking as it hit the spare tire mount/brake light.
Sooo, I don't have a reservation but am looking to purchase. Can non-reservation holders attend? I realize this has likely been discussed numerous times...
Right now our two car replacements are a Bronco and an EV. I want to Bronco for camping adventures and an EV for 90% of our combined driving (makes the most sense). I likely will still get a gas Bronco just due to the range (and lack of charging where I will be headed).
The F150 Lightening...
So back to the leather seats discussion, is the passenger not power (if you get the 4 door)?! That pic from the first page had lever for the back recline....
Yes you are right, at 3,500 that likely is all it needs (FYI I realize you have been heavy into the tow capacity rating from previous posts and agree with your lack of disappoint in the actual value!).
Now back to the regular scheduled program...
I still can't believe the trailer hitch isn't welded to the frame. My 2002 Trailblazer had a trailer hitch from the factory welded into the frame - in fact all Trailblazer/Envoys did back then. I kind of expected that to happen with the Bronco.
Can't believe it is held in by 4 measly bolts...
My wife and I are looking to replace our 2016 Edge with an EV coming up in 1-3 years. This F150 Lightening meets pretty much all of the needs on paper (space, price, speed) but we just don't want a pickup as a daily driver. I will wait for the trickle down effect.
I have always thought a roof top tent is pointless. You need to take down your tent to move, you hae to climb a ladder to get up there, they cost a ton, terrible price point, and if it rains later when you get home you need to set it up to dry it.
Give me my standard car tent (non backpacking)...
I am with you. I am getting the SAS package as I really want the offroad goodies that come with it (lockers, suspension upgrades, and larger tires). However, I may not keep the same size tires for the second set - either go with 33's or 34's? I also definitely want a black beauty ring!
