Yeah, it was weird. Maybe he's saying they have allocated 60% of their 40%, but like I said the other day, there are Broncos everywhere on the roads in Knoxville. They had to mostly come from this place. I have passed at least 6 this week- 2 and 4 door.
My dealer is one of two things- an absolute idiot or acting dumb while pulling some shenanigans. I am a 7/13 res 2 door BL non sas manual. I ask him the simple question of where I am in his allocations. He won't answer and only says I "have an early time stamp" on my res and they still have "...
If we think about it logically, you can get a TRD Pro 4 Runner that will last 60,000 years for about the same price as the badlands. Or a base model 4 runner for the price of a lesser spec. Or a Jeep. My build is a 51,000 badlands 2 door. I’m a gambler, but I don’t think I’m that much of a...
Well, they are doing it so... let us just monitor these "penalties". I'll bet we will see a few hundred thousand extra cheddars in the dealer's bank account, and nothing else.
my buddy is sales manager and said the owner made ALL the staff put in a reservation on 7/13. He said they have around 20 to sell because of it. They've received 3 so far, with 4 more on the way next month, all going for +10k over.
You know what this is setting up for.... you can see it from a mile away: leaking roofs. Better change your order to wash out flooring and vinyl seating if you haven't.
I think the other big factor- the Jeep exists and he can go buy it and drive it right now. Bronco is at best a long waiting game and at worst a shell game between the customer, dealer, and Ford. If I really needed a car anytime within the next year, Jeep would be the logical choice.
7/13 reservation, 1/20 order 2 dr Badlands Manual, I haven’t heard a word. The excitement is completely gone and if I do stick and take delivery it will feel like a hollow victory.
