Following. I also installed a film one (the OCD Plug) and took it off next day. I found that it made the screen look hazy/translucent and honestly was not thrilled with having to put soapy water all over my touchscreen to install it. Not a fan.
Interested in purchasing a factory soft top within reasonable driving range of Louisville; not looking to pay a big premium considering TrekTops are available for ≈$1800, but the factory top is superior in removability and I'd rather go that route.
Edit: Not looking to trade my hard top, this...
Having this same issue with my rear passenger-side window. Interesting how many in this thread have the same issue with the same window. Would prefer to avoid the dealership as long as possible but will probably take it in eventually.
Nice work on this product, it looks like a great solution. I have two questions for you:
(1) Will this work with a tailgate table installed? Wasn't sure if such an accessory would interfere where the top of your enclosure meets the tailgate door.
(2) I wasnt sure how to look for this question...
Thanks to everyone on this thread - with the information everyone provided I was also able to get my dealer to claim this thru Smart VINCENT, no physical certificate needed. Yall are the best! Thanks.
Price protection is more miss than hit. Check out the screenshots in this post for the best info I've seen on the program to date. Technically, FoMoCo is supposed to provide eligible customers with a physical direct mail "Certificate". If your experience is like mine (and several others), the...
It does blow. This thread is quieter than it should be honestly. Once more of our early MY22'ers start taking delivery, I have a feeling this is going to become a much bigger topic.
The screenshots on this post show that your dealer should be seeing the Price Protection in Smart VINCENT under...
While they obviously need to take part in the process, I think the dealerships are not the problem on this specific issue. Based on the extremely helpful information shared by @Ducati1098, we now have written confirmation that this mystery "Certificate" is in fact a physical "Direct Mail Piece"...
As an update to my pickup post, I wanted to share with this group that there have been backward developments on the Price Protection topic and it is in fact not yet resolved. Highly recommend you all deal with this before paperwork and pickup. I'll be sure to update should this get sorted.

There are multiple threads on this topic, but in short I picked up my MY22 this week and was not provided the elusive "Price Protection Certificate". Still trying to navigate this issue. Dealer and Ford are pointing at each other, so should be fun to resolve.
If interested my post is linked...
I am currently dealing with this issue also. Completed purchase paperwork on 1/10 and picked up on 1/11. Noticed before physical pickup that the Price Protection was not applied to the MSRP, and thought I had a resolution when speaking with dealer the next day; but subsequently, the dealer sent...
She's mine! Woooo!
A big shout out to Cat for the helpful checklist, and to all those on the forum that made it possible to track and understand this wild process. My dealer was not very communicative, and those tools made the long wait more bearable.
A couple things I wanted to point out...
