Hey everyone. I should be picking up my bronco in the next couple of weeks and wanted to see everyone’s opinion on denver dealers for routine service. I know all aren’t created equal so what dealers in denver do you all recommend for service? Or which to avoid. I’m down in Littleton area if that...
Well well well - my dealer called me this morning and i just got released from MAPs gate and am heading to my train car. Now the train journey begins but glad its on a train with the drama Ford is putting out this week regarding MIC, LUX, and SAS considering i have two of those.
I’ve read most of these threads but couldn’t quite find the answer. If I’m already built but awaiting shipment I assume this doesn’t impact my build. Right?
One can hope I have that issue as well - I have the same built and hope periods as you - going to MT. No one from Ford corporate to their escalation team on social media to phone lines have any idea when mine is going to ship.
I recieved another email when I asked for specifics on why my car was being leap-frogged for a rail car when cars built after us make it on. Response - railcar shortage.
Did they email you first or just call you. I got a email response from Felicia with a super generic response - almost correcting me saying i was waiting for shipment starting this week - not since i was "built" on 12/4. I had to blow up those executives with daily emails until I got this response.
Agreed - my dealer has been great so far but sometimes it feels like if the dealerships collectivly applied more pressure on corporate things could possibly get better. They are just making to much money to care with a line of customers waiting to grab my bronco if I walk.
Just sent my email.
I’d like it as well. I’ve chatted so much shit on their Instagram their PR team reached out to me via DM but that ended up being just hit us up again if the EDD comes and goes - which is today. Only other idea I had is if everyone collectively started to review bomb dealerships bc I doubt ford...
Same when I called. I did get two people to say something new this time which was I am released for shipping but it’s out of our hands, the rail industry is experiencing severe shortage in labor.
I called my dealer and they pinged it and showed it in Michgian last week but they did mention if the battery is dead they wont have a realistic picture of where it is - which they have had happen. I wouldnt be as annoyed if cars built after ours werent shipped right off the bat. You would...
Is anyone from our build week seeing their rig being shipped? I see other build weeks showing some shipping but our spreadsheet looks pretty bleak. My ETA just got pushed again as its still in Michigan.
I got the same info then called ford back and got a different answer. They can end up telling you it’s “route eta” if it had been loaded on a train for your current EDD, but if you can’t get a car number it’s in Michigan. I called my dealer today afterwards and they pinged it and showed it still...
Called Ford again and the rep looked at the "new" system and it shows it in transit on precision rail with a ETA of next monday. All the other systems still show it "awaiting shipment" and they cant provide me a rail car number in the new system. Color me shocked if this thing doesnt show up...
