Somehow I have only ever driven anything but a 4/RWD vehicle with the exception of a few road trips/limited driving in other people's cars.
When my dailies didn't have winters (before I had the money to have such luxuries) I learned VERY quickly how to drive to not die in slick conditions with...
I have a 2024 Badlands, and would like to swap to the 2026 Badlands wheels for the wider offset. With or without tires (depending on tire condition/mileage)
Northern Colorado area I can pick them up.
The 10r80 transmission is a heaping pile of junk, IMO. You're not wrong there. I have one in my 2018 F-150 and it's always downshifted terribly, and has a high defect rate. The newer ones have, apparently, somewhat improved the reliability issues but when I test drove an auto Bronco it still...
Dealer will always low ball you. They are in the business of selling cars for a profit, not buying your car from you for the market value. They are looking to profit off people who don't want the hassle of selling their car.
Private party sale will get you more dollars.
Dealers also won't...
If it were me and I had the time, I would have taken the removed filter to the car manufacturer and ask them if the Valvoline replacement meets spec. WHEN they say no, I'd then go back and chew ass and demand money back.
Nothing. Any reasonably secure solution is far, far more expensive than the things I might leave in the vehicle to get stolen. Plus, I'm more concerned someone will damage my (expensive) top trying to get to things.
This only works for me because, well, I don't tend to run around with things in...

But, to drain it sanely with the factory plug, you twist it loose, then leave the plug in but tilt it a bit to let a reasonable stream of oil come out. Gotta do that for several minutes though.
This has been a problem for me for the last 15-20 years. I do the drive in regularly (my town has one of the last in the country). These days I just bring a battery powered smart speaker with an FM tuner. I don't go to the drive in for the ultimate A/V theatre experience, hah.
Plus, I don't...
Yup, only way to know it's done right is to do it yourself. How many lube places just slap in the cheapest oil they can get their hands on? How many just slap in a $0.50 cent shit filter even if you ask for premium service (then charge you 10-15 bucks for that filter)? How many take care not to...
Lots of owners have had these be low. The factory apparently doesn't "burp" the cooling system very well. Mine (not a raptor) was an inch or two (about a cup) below "min" after 5,000 miles. I would not worry there is some major problem because it's low, though it's good to check for leaks and...
