I believe it was an availability of parts on why they stopped production. Same reason you can still order a manual bronco but it says "limited availability". But I may also be wrong. Never did see an actual factual document on why they stopped for that short time.
Just FYI Ford did not pull the transmission from the off roadeo because the transmission had any issues...... They pulled it because people claimed to know how to drive manual but went on to burn the clutch out.
Any chance you are going to be at Broncopalooza next Saturday in Belvidere? Id love to check out your bronco with that clutch and short shifter. It's the two things I am debating doing to mine.
Does anyone have recommendations for a good kit or at least a good squeegee for installing tint on the windows. I am going to do it myself but not sure what best tool to use to push the water out of the tint. Please let me know your recommendations.
I'll definitely have to check that out while I'm there! Didn't even know about it so thanks for mentioning it.
Last question for you, If I'm in the bronco corral and decide to only stay a few hours is it something you can leave whatever time you want or is it blocked off where you can only get...
I looked up that Holiday inn Troy and it looks like it's only half hour to Dearborn so not bad at all. Is that hotel easy drive to bronco corral on Saturday?
Thank you for the information! Since I'm planning on also going to see Ford HQ I was debating on staying in Dearborn at holiday inn right next to Ford HQ. Would that be a horrible drive to Woodward from Dearborn or not too bad?
Just throwing this out there but my 4runner TRD off road has electronic rear lockers, trail control, "goat" modes, hill start assist, and hill decent control in it from the factory. Ive had it since 2018 so when I got the bronco I was glad to see it has all these things also but Toyota did it...
I'll give that a try thank you. Hope maybe some folks on this forum may also chime in if they are familiar with what towns are good to stay in around there
I'm planning on going to Woodward dream cruise this year but am not familiar with the area or what places are good around there.
Question: does anyone have a place they would recommend to stay at that is close to Woodward dream cruise and also not too far from Holly Oaks off road course...
