Please post pictures after the install and initial thoughts on the performance. Still not sure if i'm willing to give up the limited real estate or wait for a stock replacement option.
Will this work with the 6.5” rear speaker pods you sell? Thinking that would be the best time for me to do a “package” & upgrade the speakers in my bronco
All 5 tires were rebalanced and rotated. Confirmed with the shop that all tires balanced fine with 3 ounces or less. 1 wheel didnt need any weight this time. All tires are road force balanced as well.
i have some KSP 1.5" aluminum spacers that i ran on my OEM sasquatch wheel when i lifted my bronco. Ran them for 9 months before i upgraded my wheels and tires. Purchased at $150, willing to sell the full set for $80 if you're interested.
I normally do my own rotations as well but since the shop offered lifetime rotations and balancing with the purchase, figured i'd give my back a break. Almost all tires have 1.5-3 oz weights. It's just 1 tire out of 5 that needed 7.5 oz's. Hopefully they can bring that number down when i go on...
Balanced fine when I first got them mounted. Did not require much weight. When I got my tires rotated, the shop rebalanced them & 1 wheel needed significant weight added. Getting my tires rotated again later this week. The shop will rebalance during the rotation so I’ll report back.
This is definitely on the bucket list of trips for me to make. Just need my brother to get his truck and then we're making it happen. Hopefully 2026 but definitely in 2027.
i have a full set of 5 if you're interested. no TPMS and tires are still on the wheels. I'm located just north of San Diego in Orange County. PM me if you're interested.
I went with Load E tires. I have Reika Rambler wheels that are ~24lbs so weight wasnt a huge concern for me. We just had a little over 2 inches of rain over the weekend and i can confirm they handled well in the rain. Never felt like i was losing traction.
Same. Even the guys at the shop that rotate my tires every ~3k miles don't complain about removing and reinstalling because its so easy. My SS3 Pro reverse light kit with this chase light kit to replace the 3rd brake light would be the ideal set up for my type of off roading and daily driving.
I have a little over 6k miles on mine and they've been great. Hook up really well offroad in dirt/sand/rocks and on road they arent as noisy as you would think. i would argue they're quieter than the factory good years at highway speeds but definitely a little noisier on the street.
