  1. Now that it's getting cold... re: Morimoto XB Tail Lights issues?

The dash blinker will hyper-flash, which is Ford's and most OEMs way of telling you that you have a bulb out. You can turn it off in FORscan and the dash will blink normally, but if you ever do lose a bulb, you won't have any indication other than someone telling you or the cops pulling you...
  2. Now that it's getting cold... re: Morimoto XB Tail Lights issues?

There were a couple of people who had whole banks of LEDs on the drivers side not lighting up when the brake was applied with the Mori's. I know about the Forscan 'fix' but you lose any indicator that your lamps are out. Such a pain in the ass tbh. At this point I'm seriously considering running...
  3. Don't mod taillights!

Ugh, damn. Such a shame because these lights look so damn good. Between this issue with the Oracle's and the driver's side Morimoto lamps going on the fritz, it's pretty much down to just Form. I wish their offering wasn't so aesthetically cancerous.
  4. Now that it's getting cold... re: Morimoto XB Tail Lights issues?

No. It happens because of the code being thrown in the system. However, Morimoto provides a resistor with the taillights for people going from Halogen to their LED units. The issue is the resistors are not lasting very long. Even with relocating them and trying to insulate them from dirt as best...
  5. Now that it's getting cold... re: Morimoto XB Tail Lights issues?

Is anyone experiencing issues again with their tails, now that the colder air has started coming in? Referring to this thread https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/new-morimoto-xb-tail-lights-now-available.99542/post-2618488 Looking to pull the trigger on some tails soon and wanted to see...
  6. Alpharex headlight issue

Not sure on troubleshooting, but, if you decide to go another route.. The Form headlights look almost identical and it's a US company with a very responsive customer service department. I do hope you're able to resolve your issues though.
  7. Halogen Tail Lights -> Third-Party Tail Lights

I may be mistaken, but I think if you go this route and you do end up with a tail light going out, you will no longer have any indication inside the cabin and will have to rely on noticing it yourself, or being told about it. That's the drawback.
  8. Armadillo Designs Aluminum Hardtop

Have you emailed them to ask what the issue is? Whenever I email them, they usually respond within 24 hours.
  9. Armadillo Designs Aluminum Hardtop

Well, square top is not slant top, so I assume there is a difference in manufacturing process. In addition, we did not order very many additional options like molle panels, windows, or such. Also went with black. Custom colors might take more time too if you went that route.
  10. Armadillo Designs Aluminum Hardtop

Wife and I just made the trip from North Texas down to Armadillo on Friday the 17th. I had her take a quick photo since she's home with the Bronco now. A trip to Bellville and two round trips to Hillsboro worth of dirt on it, so don't judge. :p We ordered on 5/29. Installed 10/17. Went from...
