We donāt have our class C yet, but Iāve been a student of this topic for quite some time in anticipation of the day. Iāve followed other TOAD rigs for miles watching & studying. Some vehicles wag constantly and I wonder if the RV driver even knows. With that preface, I canāt help but wonder...
When I ordered my ā23 non-SAS OBX I clearly had option between either transfer case. In fact I first ordered with standard transfer case, then later revised to 4A and Iām super glad I did.
My brother did this in his J10 (awesome truck) and the mechanical radiator fan got deep enough into the water that it pulled the blades forward into the radiator. Because water is heavier than air. Bad things happened. Very bad.
Sound familiar @RHeinz ?
All my four wheeling life Iāve seen & heard people who - because they have 4WD and because of tough image marketing - think that they can drive the vehicle through water & mud without risk or damage or liability. HA!
Hereās the cold hard reality: differentials hate water, axles hate water...
Ask for the old parts back (tire, wheel, whatever), clean them up, lightly sand the nicks from the wheels, spray some clear over those spots, then have an independent tire shop mount it up.

I have a non-SAS Outer Banks which is the identical suspension. Only the tires are different. I love the ride - much better than my F150 or my wifeās Edge or my buddyās Tacoma. And I have a bad back so Iām particularly sensitive to this.

I applaud you for chalking! I learned this decades ago and can attest to its effectiveness. š
In regards to wear & traction I agree with @ScLeCo
Yet if I were taking a road trip in summer Iād go with what you have or even add a couple of PSI. This is especially true for BFG all terrain or...
Time, distance, ācoldā starts (when engine has cooled to ambient air temperature), short trips, high operating temperatures, cold ambient temperatures, hard acceleration, stop & go trafficā¦
Lots of factors get incorporated into oil life algorithms.
Letās be thankful that the computer is...
Hereās a similar example... to give you some idea.
In 2010 I got an F150 off the lot with standard 26 gallon tank. After a while I decided I really wanted the 36 gallon tank that was available on F150s of the same year. From the factory at build time, the 36 was a couple of hundred $$. So I...
Oil temp & Trans temp in degrees. But not for coolant/radiator ā that is only indicated by the bars lower left. (As @Theherofails said, they run toasty for efficiency. I suspect that Ford doesnāt show coolant in degrees because old school people would freak.)
A lot of new owners are noticing...
