If youāre having issues with this bumper, reach out to turn via email. They told me they are developing a new tailgate mounting plate with more adjustability and will send it out when they are done testing it in 3-4 weeks.

I like this setup here but itās pretty pricey for what it is. Can probably fab up a bracket that does the same thing and grab a couple blocks for way cheaper.
To manage temperatures I added a W1209 controller and a blower fan to the enclosure.
Blower Fan: 120mm x 120mm radial blower rated at 31.6 CFM
Controller: W1209 digital thermostat wired to trigger the fan
Everything fits nice and snug. I have them mounted with Velcro to the lid of the...
Nice I would like to see some photos when youāre done!
I used this Anderson connector and panel mount from powerwerx:

I used everything from 1/0 AWG for the ground connection, 4 AWG for the longer runs to the starter battery, 6 AWG for the battery connectors, and 12-16 AWG for wiring the loads. Lmk when youāre ready for the files and if you need help with anything.
@Dusty thanks for the suggestions, I flipped the heim over to the other side and moved the tire carrier back a little. The tire is pressed a little more, but due to the side lugs on the tire it might look like there are gaps.
itās still wobbling, but the heim mount tab in the tailgate side is...
How do you like the badlands jack? Considering getting one but not sure if I want to occupy more space in the cargo. Where are your wires going to behind the cargo panel?
One of the goals was to keep it located in the cargo space so as not to take up room. That battery looks nice, but it would definitely not fit in there.
I spent a lot of time trying to find batteries that would fit and give me the most capacity and settled on these ones from amped outdoors...
I was rear ended one week after installing it. They wanted to use the footage and photos on social media and I asked them for a discount to rebuy it and they went silent. That rubbed me the wrong way and the 3+ month wait time
Iāll have to double check but I think I had the carrier positioned as far back as possible. Iām running a 0 offset 17x8.5 wheel with 37x12.50r17 tire. If I can squeeze it a little more Iām sure that would help.
As for the lower heim, Iāll have to try that. Did you consider using a jam nut...

š I havenāt installed solar yet and havenāt drained the battery completely. I let it sit for 3 days after installing and there was still some juice left by the time I started driving again. It took maybe one and a half to two hours to get up to 100% charge.
After comparing a few popular optionsālike the American Adventure Lab rear storage battery trayāI opted to build a fully custom dual battery setup in my Bronco using the DV8 expanded cargo storage box. The AAL tray was solid, but I went custom for two key reasons:
I can fit 5x 20Ah batteries...
So hereās where my bump stops first contact the carrier when closing the door. And the second photo is how compressed they are when fully closed. And it still wobbles lol
