I see they used the 10R80 in the 2017 Raptor which is 510 lb/ft torque stock. At 590 lb/ft rating, it wouldn't take too much modification on the Raptor to knock on the transmission max rated torque door and I haven't heard of any mass failures of that tranny in the Raptor.

The base issue is taken care of, Ford said I don't lose my reservation if I don't convert. The rest is now the background for information. I have had two other dealers tell me I can't do anything and would lose my reservation, so there is a lot of confusion out there among the dealers.

I have bought two from Bob Thomas, dealing with Andy Hicks both times. He and his wife actually delivered my Super Duty to my place in Portland after work because I didn't have a second driver at the time.
