I think its funny that they (Ford) gave a cutoff date of September 19th for reservations to be getting a MY22, when in reality they meant July 19th. LOL!!
Doesn't really make mathematical sense, no matter how you slice it. Someone has to pay the taxes, and heck why not pay your state twice (which is highway robbery). Its a loss for you either way, unless someone pays way more then they should.
Sounds like Michael didnt do his research. First mistake, waiting until Nov 20 to join B6G, second mistake, obviously not talking to your dealership about pricing before going to put $1000 un-refundable down payment. Great job walking out, now go through B6G with all your questions and search...
IMO, you waited to long to force the pricing conversation. We've all been talking about deals and plans, etc from the get go. Waiting this long for a pricing discussion is a recipe for disappointment.

IMO, build your Bronco the way you want. Do not let the dealership tell you you will be a MY22, but let Ford tell you that. Put in your order, and wait until May, when Ford is supposed to come back to you to say….hey this 2.7L engine will push you to <fill in the blank>. At that time you can...
