    12,500 is very extreme for people or vehicles so donā€™t plan on experiencing more of the same difficulties. Less than 200hp at that elevation and it might take some days to adjust Iā€™m not sure. The only times I have had issues with reliable vehicles has been at high mountain passes. Sometimes...

    Wait until new people realize how far it is to drive out of the park either to I-10 or yucca valleyā€¦ haha itā€™s always surprising but I still donā€™t like to descend Berdoo canyon. Just my preference.

    There is actually a Little Thomas Mountain truck trail in Garner Valley that is in between Thomas mountain and Lake Hemet. Itā€™s a nice drive and will lead you from 74 to Anza and 371. Also across hwy 74 from the little Thomas mountain trailhead is the Fobes Ranch area.
