Now I just need a Bronco!......Looks awesome. Is there going to be a video that shows how it can be moved for the roof panel take off or soft top pushed back?
I don't have a Bronco yet, but I am confident I have likely gone above that with my 2 kayaks, and cargo box full of camping gear. Granted I did have yakima round bars running across the rack for more support and I plan on doing the same for my Bronco (if I ever get one...)
This is exactly what I am looking for! I think it should be not difficult, just a rear bar in the back and one up front using the mounts above the windshield for kayaks.
Welp, I am never getting one until 2024 at this rate (honestly haven't done a reservation yet - wanted to get all the quality kinks worked out, plus I don't need a new ride yet).
I have noticed this same thing when doing the build and price. I have dropped the WT and am either a Badlands in 33's or a OBX w/Sas as I too like the roast leather interior much more than that of other trims (darn that blue accents!!! looks tacky).
I am debating on getting a small trailer to haul kayaks and gear as well versus on the roof. It would be easier to load, but I likely wouldn't be able to drive as fast on the freeway and then I gotta store the thing somewhere. I likely would get a utility trailer as I think they are cheaper...
I like the interior color. I dislike the yellow/orange accents on the badlands and the blue on the OBX is just tacky. This green is right (better yet just have it be gray a neutral color). Will I get one? No. But nice to see some other options out there.
I want to see Ford continue this...
Is it just me or the more extreme these get the more I like just the OB with some KO2's or the stock Badlands no SAS? I have started liking just the Rubicon in 33's as it to me just looks "stock enough." I won't ever be doing KOH so likely anything non SAS with perhaps a locker and some good...
Thanks again for posting this information. I am torn between SAS or non SAS and personally just a rear locker and some AT K02s like you have on an OB may be the ticket. Thanks for sharing and I love the places you have gone. Campsites, forest roads, and some dune driving (Silver Lake) is what...
I just wish that 4,500 tow rating made it into the Sas or standard Bronco's.
Where's all the comments about having more suspension travel, and offroad capability limits the tow rating now???
I still haven't put down a reservation as my dealer doesn't have anything for me to drive etc. Also, I had assumed this kinda of quality stuff would be worked out by now - literally if this happens in mine my wife is gonna make me sell it and I would agree. This has got to get fixed (I know...
Whenever I actually plop down a reservation, this is exactly what I plan on doing. The OBX in leather roast is the best interior (although not a fan of the blue portions) and then just the black emblem and black beauty rings.....nice rig!
It does allow the tailgate to open which is nice. However, no way am I putting my FS Santa Cruz on the back of a flimsy bike rack like that.
I am sure this will work for those that want to bring their cruiser bike to the beach or a bike path a handful of times a year, but for someone who...
Do you have the external keypad? This better be possible with the external keypad, as I currently have a key somewhere in my Ford Edge, no clue where as I always use the keypad to lock/unlock.
If I didn't research as much as I have on this friggen vehicle, I would have also assumed a Lux package vehicle would come with power seats, especially on the OBX (which is supposed to be the luxury ride, but is far from...)
