I called this morning expecting F all from Ford BUT they said my bronco has been with the carrier (rail) for a while now and is scheduled to show up in my state on Sunday......but no rail car info on east rail (whatever that is - going to MT). Im not sure when this "new system" went into play...
I requested the loan be increased by $500 over my pre-approval. This reset the date and kicked out my lock period since they had to look at the underwriting again but didn’t have to do a soft pull on my credit.
Somehow much rate hasn’t changed, yet, since I got my original lock back in November. I was able to request an increase if 500 bucks to my original one and it kicked my old rate out another 60 days bc it was just a modification to the original.
So unlike most I found a dealer with either a cancelled order or excess allocation and snagged mine at MSRP. When i put down my deposit a few months ago it cleared my Bronco from their website. How are you all still seeing yours?
I finally talked enough crap on fords social media that I got a specialist to reach out and elevate my issue. We shall see if that means anything outside - your car has been released and is awaiting shipment.
I talked to my dealer and they said they unless the battery dies they should be able to know where it sits with VINVIEW. He said they have had a (very) few just show up at the dealership but they all had dead batteries.
Yah he isn’t seeing that. He personally got one and it took about 2 weeks to ship but who the hell knows now. I sold my car at the end of November since I got what I paid for it - thinking I’d only be out 2 weeks sharing with the wife. My lock expires the end of feb so I’m not exactly loving this.
I called my actual dealer who is in another state, but close, and he said they aren’t seeing anything like that for shipment once built. Only thing consistent in this is how terribly inconsistent this all is.
How long did yours take from "built" to delivery to the dealer. Im seeing and hearing its 60-90 days and our trucks are going to be delviered somewhat close (billings MT for me).
So you all are a week after my build date and I’ve been showing built for 2 weeks now - awaiting shipment. I’ve gone down the rabbit hole trying to figure out what my true eta is considering it’s showing next week with the car still sitting in Michigan waiting carrier pickup. I called another...
So I got a little annoyed today and called a local dealer near me and asked their insight. They said once they see the "built email" they are still telling customers it will be another 60-90 day wait to delivery (Colorado).
I called again today and got someone who agreed it did appear to take 2 months to get these shipped and onto a train once built so that's awesome. No idea how knowledgeable this person was as they just tended to agree with the questions I was asking.
