I really dig this! My eye wants to the top raised just a little bit higher closer to the old defender. There are probably practical reasons for not doing it like weight, drag coefficient... you know the joy killers.
I think this along with the premium dash vinyl were originally intended to be part of the Lux packages. It didn't make the cut. I believe @ZackDanger might have been the one to point this out before. I don't recall.
It has surprised for some time now that no one has discussed this, even from early pictures. Neither the step nor the obvious solution designed for the mud-flaps have been much of a discussion. I would buy both of these for my Bronco.
A few people have posted about the Crutchfield options (available now). If you upgrade the B&O system and posted a project review, that would be a big thread on the forum. Most posts have been to the base stereo or have been pretty preliminary B&O speaker swaps.
Nice! Iām sure you are excited! Just to be clear, I meant I took that picture, I didnāt buy it (although I would). I have a Rapid Red Squatch. You are going to love driving yours bud!
I donāt know the actual lift but I estimated between 2-3.5 inches. I got out to look at it and I have to tell you they had it dialed in to perfection. One of the best looking ones I have ever seen. I have a squatched Bronco but this one was perfect.
Town and County Ford posted a video comparing First Editions and mentioned how difficult it is to obtain replacement badges from Ford. There is literally a verification process for getting them. I have heard about the obsolete status with the part number. Good luck!
