Oh for sure. Slab that stuff on everything. I should have done it during the initial install. I wasn't really thinking at the time and I suppose I just assumed the Oracle connectors were weatherproof.
I am kind of surprised the resistors weren't assembled as part of the light assembly...
I've cleaned up the terminals 3 times with a wire brush and terminal cleaner so far. No dice.
I don't want to void my warranty, but I'm willing to snip off those janky connectors and replace them with heatshrink butt connectors.
No contest. I'd take 2 of these over a bar.
That said, I'm set in the lighting department. Rigid 6" 360 (2), Lightforce 170 (2), Lightforce ROK 10 (2), Diode Dynamics SSC2 (2), & finally DD SS12 (1).
But a pair of these ARBs would clean up my shit along with a set of fogs.
@JP_Oracle
I was going to take a look and swap the resistors tomorrow, except the right one started giving me the fast flash this afternoon. Please advise.
Forgot to mention in my original post its only on the driver side.
I've had the Oracles in for about 2 months now. They include resisters as well. So, unlikely unless the resistor failed on the one side. I'll have to swap the housing and verify.
Hey all,
Yesterday a gremlin popped up in my truck. The dashboard turn indicator is giving the "bulb out" fast flash. Exterior signals appear to working properly.
'22 Base Man SAS, Stock Base headlamps, & Oracle LED tails.
Any ideas what could be causing this?
Here's some more B2 content. My original order for my new Bronco was for the dark blue. But with my order pushed to '22 that could not be the case.
Love both of these trucks. And a Ranger thrown in for the hell of it.
