That’s interesting. The dealership stated they would not let anyone in, once they get a deposit, let alone test drive. They have the top off and said they would lock it up.

Keep us posted. I don’t have a pre March reservation and it’s in a completely different city. What would happen if they sold it to the wrong person?

How much over msrp did you agree to May I ask? They are doing 5k and have just randos making offers, but they received nothing by any of them In three weeks. I found it online and would have to fly then drive it back home. I guess all those making offers are not serious. I live in another city...

I’m a late reservation holder and know that I most likely will not see my vehicle in 2-3 yrs, which has me searching what’s available now. I found a demo that a dealer is willing to allow a deposit and written purchase agreement for Jan, but another dealer has stated that is not allowed by Ford...

I’m also 99 and I’m wondering the same. No word from my dealer on this. They currently have 40 orders, mostly two doors. So if my order stands out to Ford for picking at some point, then it still won’t be built till the 99 is lifted? So what’s the point if I don’t even have a chance to be built...

Is this for those with VINs and build dates?

My nearby dealership had a rejected two door BD that they marked up 25k and intend to auction to the highest bidder, so getting 10k will be easy.

From my dealer, they are picking 3-4 orders per dealership, so that make a difference. That said, the smaller dealership, the smaller the allocation. Nothing is completely transparent. If it were, I would know which dealership to order through, and what build to submit.

Understood. But one dealer that is bigger than most in my area, hinted that they were maxed out till 2023. They had way too many orders per allocation. vs a smaller dealership 30 mins away.

Okay so this bs about reservations time stamp is meaningless if say a person reserved in major metropolis with tons of orders and few allocations vs. small town with limited number of orders made. It also depends on type of orders the dealer has. Mine stated they have more two doors.
