0% financing tends to be a promotional thing. Last I knew Ford was not really in the business of offering promotions on the Bronco. Maybe that dealer is different, but as everyone else has said check the fine print.
Why not give Safelite the chance to make things right? Everybody/every company makes mistakes. What sets us apart is how we deal with those mistakes. I know you are livid, and I would be too, but sometimes dealing with situations in an angry manner is counterproductive. Nothing gets done...
Probably the best you are going to do is a photo of a unit with matching specs rolling off the line. It would not be your Bronco specifically, but no one would know.
There are a couple of threads on here with some links and one even has some baby photos. Search Bronco baby photos or...
Hmmm. understand the need to vent, but the guys who have been waiting 900+ days will be along shortly to set you straight. LOL.
Sorry that happened, but you are right, at least it is getting built.
That base non-sas might be tough to make any money on unless you bought it really right. Values seem to be increasingly location dependent as well. I wish you luck with the sale.
That is really shady, but kinda par for the course.
You need to walk in with your financing already in place. The dealer is not your friend as you found out. Anything they do, they are not doing for you, they are doing for themselves. I can almost guarantee 10% was not the "buy rate"...
I doubt Frod had much if anything to do with this. This is a service offered by your dealer. They probably justify the cost as a marketing expense. You know, show them the pretty new trucks and maybe they will buy one next time around. Sounds like it worked. LOL
Back in the summer when I was looking for mud flaps, I could have sworn the weathertech ones were advertised as saquatch only. I could be mistaken, and things could have changed, but the sasquatch only was why I ruled them out for my non-sas Badlands and went with the Mabbett front-only option.
Following. LOL.
I have only done that once and did not notice any washer fluid in the back, but I did not really look either. It does have the fitting where it connects, but I am not sure if that is a drain, a cap or how it works.
I don't believe you are including tax in your estimate. You show fees of $2,002 being rolled in. It should be closer to $7,000 you need to roll in there to cover the $6,200+ tax.
Only $5k additional?
To a lot of people, $5k is a lot of money, and $80/month could be a deal breaker. I know the Bronco demographic is older and more affluent, so $5k more on a toy might not seem like a big deal. But I have been around long enough that I appreciate the value of $5,000...
I think what the dealer meant was a 1" lift at all four corners of the vehicle. 4 places x 1" equals a 4" lift, right? I should have been a marketing guy. LOL.
I am with Chesire. If anything longer than 60 months is required, you might be biting off more than you can chew. That being said, lots of people do it, but it is not for me. 72 and 84-month loans are commonplace nowadays. A quick google search tells me the average term length of a new car...
