Keep in mind, there will be lots of little areas that you will not be able to cover the white. If you want mostly black, choose a black wrap design that has transition or patterns...I.e., race stripes, retro stripes, partial body wrap, or something like DSRPT camo for a full wrap.
I think I recall reading a post awhile ago about someone noticing a sticker or label, partially peeling away from the driveshaft, and making a noise as it was slapping during rotation.
On your dash, you can select the "Power Distribution" view in the menu. When in 4A, you can see when power is going to the front tires. When you feel the vibration, see if it is when you are getting power to the front. When I select Sport mode and leave it in 4A, I see power going to the front...
Finally gave it another shot yesterday and was a much smoother attempt this time around lol. With the compressor mount having been installed for awhile now, when I removed the 2 bolts holding the mount and CPU, all the bracketry actually stayed in place and aligned. I then used an extension with...
I adjusted my wind deflector today and it seems to have eliminated the noise I get from the front of the rack so far. However, while making that adjustment, I noticed what appears to be “buckling” on the top flanges of my side rails…one on each side. I never noticed these bends when I installed...
Any tips on installing the remote switch plate? Been sounding like a madman cursing at myself trying to align all the holes and getting the screws back in lol. For future runs, if you can make the holes keyed, it might make install easier by not having to remove those 2 mounting bolts.
Do you have any pics of the CAI, looking from straight above the airbox with the Bronco computer module next to it? That will give us a better idea of fitment with some of the air compressor brackets on the market.
I get this squeak sound as well and have narrowed it down to the body mounted portion of the pakrax bracket and the hard top, making contact on the rearmost passenger side. Looking at my hardtop, the rear passenger corner seems to hug the body more than the driver's side. I attribute this to the...
He can probably make some rotational adjustments at all the connection points (mid-pipe and bash guard pipe) to give him more clearance at the tip. All the pipes have bends in them to clear various underbody parts, so any rotation in one direction will cause a change in clearance down the line...
Removed the shroud to check the wire connections on the compressor and noticed this pair of wires (circled in red) were bent towards the fan and was blocking the fan from spinning. I tucked the wired up and over the bigger wire loom and all is good now. Whew!
Everyone's experience will be different...for every car...look at this forum as an example. My MY experience is very different from your friend's. Over 57K miles on my 2020, changed 2 flat tires due to nails and changed the last 2 original tires about 10k miles ago.
Not to derail this thread and as I've said in other EV related threads, whether an EV is right for you, is completely dependent on your driving routine. It is way better for some people and will make no sense for other people...it all comes down to your normal driving routine. Of all the my...
Finally got around to installing the ARB Twin Compressor in my engine bay. Got everything wired up, started the vehicle, and turned on the isolator switch...compressor turned on, but the fan doesn't turn. I can see the fan wanting to turn, but it never does. Bad fan? Wiring problem? Something else?
