  1. Did Procal mess this up

Unfortunately I don't have Forscan or a DTC reader. Ill try heading to either Autozone or O'Reilly. Thanks. And yes they already suggested it might be a sensor issue. It obviously wasn't during the alignment bc I have an appointment for tomorrow for diagnostics.
  2. Did Procal mess this up

So what is the correct setting as I have adjusted several times and now threw out into 5 mph difference
  3. Did Procal mess this up

I added the lift some time ago. Just wanted to make sure you knew it was installed as those are the only mods I’ve done that might affect anything that I know of.
  4. Did Procal mess this up

I’m in a pickle. Not the food kind. I drive a’24 badlands with Sasquatch package. I added a rough Country 2 1/2” lift and put on 37x12.5R17 Ko2’s. I recently ordered the Ford Procal 4 and had it installed by my local Ford dealership tech. Went home 25 miles-ish and it was still off by a couple...
  5. I have a build in but was just offered a deal I don’t think I can refuse!

Does anyone see the similarities in making an offer on purchasing a home? When you contract with a home owner to buy their home you put down earnest money. If you back out for no reason you don’t get it back. No one argues with that, they don’t blame the industry for that. Why blame the car...
  6. To upgrade or not to upgrade, the question?

No coilovers as of yet but spoke with my installer/mechanic today and we discussed icons in a couple of years. Currently bronco is comfortable though it rolls more than I expected rock climbing a bit, nothing exaggerated. As I mentioned 65-70% is paved city/highway and rest is off-road. The more...
  7. To upgrade or not to upgrade, the question?

You re right. I started out creating an Offroad rig. Along the way I was in a motorcycle wreck. I used it to travel around the country with my club. Scared the hell out of me enough that I gave it up after 50+ years of riding. Now I am fixing it up to overland and am trying to work around...
  8. To upgrade or not to upgrade, the question?

Is there anything you would recommend to help save the suspension with the 37’s and the additional weight of the RTT, winch, interior molle panels, and other items on my list?
  9. To upgrade or not to upgrade, the question?

is there anything y’all would recommend I do to the suspension to help protect it?
  10. To upgrade or not to upgrade, the question?

Why reduced maintenance? That’s one thing I would need to increase or maintain to increase longevity, right? What parts do you think I would have to monitor?
  11. To upgrade or not to upgrade, the question?

CGs? And btw the things you say you wouldn’t do are already done so that’s moot point, let’s move on from there. I’m not swapping vehicles since i love my Bronco and what I’ve done to it. Now I want to know how to protect and maintain it.
  12. To upgrade or not to upgrade, the question?

I have no intention of wasting my dinero. I came by it with hard work. Now retired and want to e joy it. I will look into the whipple. Thanks for the suggestion.
  13. To upgrade or not to upgrade, the question?

So what would you recommend me doing to help prevent the wear and tear? And would you go with a different gear ratio? What I want is bc I increased tire size and am adding lots of weight with accessory add-ons what should I do to improve my ride (not a racer) and reduce wear and tear. I...
  14. To upgrade or not to upgrade, the question?

What I meant by gear is added weight. Steel fenders, steel under armor along with all the other items on my list. What is your broncos weight (GVWR?). As soon as the rest of my accessories are installed in a couple of weeks I’m heading to a scale and weigh. I am installing the ford procom tomorrow.
  15. To upgrade or not to upgrade, the question?

Gearing isn’t a MPG mod, it’s a mechanical optimization. Where the Real Savings Come From (Often Ignored) 🔧 Transmission & Drivetrain Weat With 4.70s + 37s + weight: • More heat • More torque converter slip • More gear hunting • More clutch cycling 4.88s reduce: •...
  16. To upgrade or not to upgrade, the question?

If that’s the only similarity it doesn’t match as I run heavier weight than you do. In that case I’m afraid it doesn’t compare. What I’ve read is that due to the weight and larger tires that the upgrade would be beneficial for the Bronco and its longevity.
  17. To upgrade or not to upgrade, the question?

Do you run the same gear?
  18. To upgrade or not to upgrade, the question?

Last trip from Austin south to Brownsville fighting a headwind it said I was getting 9mpg.
  19. To upgrade or not to upgrade, the question?

According to ChatGPT: My Honest Recommendation For YOU Because: You’re heavy You’re on 37s You drive 75 mph often You’re not going to 39s You’re not building a hardcore crawle 👉 4.88 is the smarter choice. It fixes the mechanical mismatch without overcorrectiing If you were 50% off-road, I’d...
  20. To upgrade or not to upgrade, the question?

I was wondering that same question. I think the estimate is around $3000. I don’t think I’ll make up for it in my lifetime but will there be enough significant improvement to excite me? Offroad maybe more so.
