I dont think so. For the last pull on the MY'21's I was next up by rez number and buildable. Dealer had three allocations remaining on the month and all three went to later reserving, buildable orders.
i.e. it's still a Corporate Ford shit show and we dont even have the program for the show.
What am I even reading here. Please do not follow this, it reads like /r/legaladvice, that is to say, it's terrible (and unproductive) advice. Ford sucks, but there's no UCC, statute of frauds or promissory estoppel (I think thats what you wanted) issue to raise.
I mean, I guess anyone without an email today is an MY'22? Pretty disappointed that despite my dealer having open allocation, my build next on their list, and a res date in July '20, I'm going to slip to MY'22
I really dont get it.
1. I forget the number but first time Ford buyers are a big cut of the Bronco reservation pool. How isnt @FordMotorCompany raising holy hell with dealers who might be putting off potential long term customers?
2. Locals are getting, what, a few grand (maybe up to 10?)...
So I havent received a VIN yet and called Ford to inquire, see if I could shake anything loose. The said that there's no more MY'21 production (it stopped this month) and next month will be MY'22. I take this to mean that VINless reservations up to this point are all now MY'22. But Ford says...
Is there some kind of list of parts/attributes that are constrained and therefore delaying production? I thought I had trimmed what I could but now Im wondering if stuff like my AMB paint selection is causing a delay.
oh yeah -- Dealer said they had 3 more vehicle allocations for the month and Im the next buildable in line. That was in august... I guess that means my local hasnt had any allocated builds over the past three weeks?
