What happens during the figure 8 procedure?
  3. WHAT IS THIS SOUND? Steering wheel noise

Have not heard this issue before - can confirm its not normal and that the dealerships should find a fix.. good ole ford quality
  4. Very light, intermittent steering wheel vibration at 65mph+

More prevalent in 2HI, seems to go away in 4HI. 4A does not do much and that would make sense as driving conditions determine how power is translated to which wheels in that mode
  5. Steering wheel shake, seat vibrations

Any updates? I get vibrations at highway speeds. Have swapped wheels and tires and still get them. Dealer refuses to do anything

  8. Sanity Check - Can You Hear This Weird Fluttering?

Rattle can not be heard when revving the engine.. which does indeed make it more perplexing. Bronco must be in motion. There is another thread suggesting that its the shifter cable in some capacity.
  9. Scratchy fluttering sound when accelerating. Please help!

Hey folks, Another thread on this popped up and it appears that one dealer determined it to be related to the shifter cable. Supposedly replaced or repositioned the cable and the issue is gone. Warming up would explain this; shifter cable is sheethed in plastic which would be more brittle...
  10. Rattle under driver dash

Did you ever resolve this? I imagine its similar to the rattle I see being reported elsewhere on the site. Could be a mispositioned shifter cable
  11. Odd Spring Sound under Dash braking Snow / 4WD?

I have not heard this sound on My bronco and I have used all the drive modes and driven in snow, sand, mud, rocks..etc I would not count this as normal. My Bronco is a giant turd that has highway vibrations, acceleration flutter sounds, leaking A-pillars, fuzzy radio..etc

  15. Rattle in cabin air intake - suspect rodents

Sadly (and perhaps shockingly given how this is a popular enthusiast truck) I have seen no such videos. I would be weary about disassembling anything plastic in the Bronco however. Likely won't go back together the same way again.
  16. 2.7L Engine Sound on Acceleration

Please let me know if you take it to the dealer and what they do about it. My service manager acknowledged it and then had me drive a different brand new bronco with her that exhibited similar sounds. Its clearly not intended to make these sounds.. but whatever the issue, its quite systemic...
  17. Drive Shaft Imbalances - What are they and what are the symptoms?

Same! I noticed the clunk last week. Please let me know what happens when you bring it back for the third time... after that you can lemon law it! I can't for the life of me get dealers to acknowledge the issue... as is the trouble with intermittent issues. please keep me posted!
  18. 2.7L Engine Sound on Acceleration

100% certain. It's an RPM correlated sound occurring from outside the interior. Sounds very similar to OP's issue. Issue is that OP says his sound was resolved via securing a loose shifter cable and tightening loose cross member bolts
  19. 2.7L Engine Sound on Acceleration

...Upon further review.. does the 2.3L not have a transmission cross member? I’m… not seeing one?
