  1. Leveling kit (front only) is that okay? ...(wheel gap #s included, FYI)

Based on my research, i am not seeing a lot of guys get a leveling kit for only the front. They do all four corners and raise the entire truck and keep level. Based on the look of things, trims with standard duty suspension have a ~1.0" rake. Is there anything wrong with just raising the front...
  2. How much is a levelling kit w/ installation?

Standard duty suspension looks to have a 1-1.5" rake. A couple a questions: 1. How much do you think this will cost (breakdown of parts / labor)? 2. Is it possible to have it adjusted if you only want to raise the front say 1" only, even if the rake is 1.5"? And does that require a more unique...
  3. Photoshop - OBX AMB 33s, steel bumper

33.2" x 11" tires, steel bumper. ~.5" lifted from tires ...not enough height, huh? Una mas
  4. Am I the only one? OBX build thats the exact same price as a similarly equipped Badlands?

Trying to gauge my sanity level My OBX 2.7L lux (+ leather, MIC, sound deadening, floor liner, 4.27 gearing with rear locker, steel bumper, aux switch, roof rack) PLUS ~$1,500 for 33s tires and mount...Is $100 more (after factoring in taxes and invoice pricing) as...Badlands 2.7L lux (no...
  5. Can’t think of a blessed aux switch item that I want/need - novelty of aux switches still worth it?

Maybe this sounds silly, but I have no plans on getting pod lighting or any other lighting. I actually very much dislike the look of pod lights and prefer the clean front end. Maybe Possibly fog lights if I could find a way to discretely incorporate behind an opening in a steel bumper option on...
  6. Does anyone have a photo of the upper control arm? Also, have we confirmed the offset for the Sasquatch rim? Asking for all of 6G

Similar to this (on a ranger). Anyone have photos? Non BL/Sasquatch preferred. Trying to determine how much the control arm protrudes from the face of the spindle. If similar to a ranger, it could be our biggest constraint We also have this from the Sasquatch. But I’m not sure if that control...
  7. 2 Area 51 Bronco Sports

So today had really bad overcast. I figured it was the perfect day to check out A51 in its best (darker blue/gray) and AMB at its worst (near black). If AMB still ruled supreme it was a done deal. It won by a landslide by the way. Photos of it here today outside in overcast, and awesome blue...
  8. For those scared of E load - Seeing good reviews of Cooper AT3 XLT

I’ve been doing a ton of research on tires lately. These are somewhat light for E, and have 2 ply sidewall not 3. These are rated as one of the quietest tires given some added whisper groove technology. Decent sidewall aggressive appearance but should be great for highway driving. Im circling...
  9. AMB OBX leather guys - Roast or navy pier

Probably a pretty small subset. Especially that this is specific to leather. I think if I were to include guys getting cloth the results may falsely skew to navy pier since the seat inserts are less offensive. Personally I like the dark blue exterior on saddle look. Although I love the blue and...
  10. How much would you pay to have your Bronco tomorrow?

Putting aside resale/exclusivity. Pretend the outside world doesn’t exist. You can’t flip it. Think of it as how much would you pay to hear that Ford miraculously could start delivering Day 1 reservations tomorrow and you have a day 1 reservation. How much would you pay to hear that news and...
  11. Raised white lettering on tire - yay or nay?

Down to two tires for stock OBX rim - 275/70r18 Toyo AT3 and Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT. The Coopers in that size only have raised white lettering. If I find myself favoring the Coopers, I think white lettering may look okay with stock OBX rims that are black/steel, near black paint job (AMB)...
  12. 4 dr roof rack guys - how often are you going to leave the rack installed?

Given that you cant remove the mid panel, what are your thoughts? I see myself ordering a roof rack, just to have it. It will probably be in storage more than it will be on the car. I will probably remove the mid panel way more often than needing the rack to install a cargo box. That said, i'd...
  13. Important - Who took this crash bar photo at Sanderson?...may be able to go to 34s without hitting crash bars

See photo. This shows almost 3ā€ clearance from Badlands tire. Who took this? Was the wheel turned? Or maybe the perspective of the bar in the background is throwing this off. @LEGEND gave us dimension at the factory that were 18.5ā€ from center spindle to each crash bar. Meaning 37ā€ between...
  14. I think I found the perfect tire for stock 18s

I touched on this on the other ā€˜will 33s fit the OBX thread’ but it’s buried in the back and thought this needed its own thread based on updates. here’s the dilemma on running with the stock 18s - everything is E grade. But ahah. Enter new to this year Toyo Open Country AT3. It’s E grade, but...
  15. Photoshopped 33s on OBX (AMB 4 door)

275/70/R18s (33.2") on OBX. Raised the ride height by ~0.5", given stocks are 32.1', carried over the Badlands tires and gave them a slight bump up in size, since they are 32.7s. Looks great, fills up a little bit of wheel gap compared to BL, and gets your all the glossy AMB bits. This is my...
  16. Spotted an Area51 in the wild

Needed some humor after yesterday’s announcement
  17. Are fog lights deleted on OBX with the mod bumper?

Can’t seem to find any photos with fog lights and mod bumper. The sas OBX in AMB that came out a couple days ago had mod bumper and no fogs. In B&P the fog lights also go away when you upgrade to the mod bumper.
  18. E load problems - best 275/70/r18 AT?

So it has been brought to my attention that every tire in this range is E load. And harsh. And heavy, with a big hit to MPG. I’m looking for big semi aggressive tires that are forgiving on road. I determined that I could fit these on the OBX wheel at 18x7.5. Which is fantastic that I could...
  19. 12/13 UPDATE - Updated control arms not just for Sasquatch 33s fitting OBX - 33.2x11.2 (275/70r18) close to max size after Ranger testing

@Administrator for updated sticky 12/13 update. Ford updated upper control arms on sas have been identified on big bend! They are not carried over from ranger and protrude less. Ranger guys have fitment issues due to this and it looks like Ford has improved on this. They shaved off what looks...
  20. Is there an easy way to lift an OBX 0.5-1"?

Is there a straightforward way to go about doing this? I dont need lockers, or anything special. I plan on getting the 4.27 gearing on the OBX, and will get LT275/70R18 (33.2") over the stock 32.1", and slightly bigger than Badlands 32.7". I am keeping the rims. Not sure if that will rub, but...
