I received my Mabett Tailgate Table this afternoon and promptly installed it. A few quick thoughts:
1. Build quality seems great. No rattling, everything closes tight and fits perfect.
2. Be careful removing the plastic panel on the tailgate, I broke one of the top clips.
3. I had one...
I have OBX/Lux/Leather/Sas and it is my daily driver. Ive been spending the summer mixed between the Jersey Shore and the Adirondacks, so plenty of top down/doors off driving. I have had zero issues. As others said, I wouldnt want to get caught in a downpour but the seats are incredibly...
Bergen County also. I’m sure we have already seen each other on the road. For the NJ people, there is the Trans New Jersey Trail. I have done sections of it on separate occasions. Starts at High Point and ends at Cape May.
Wish I had seen this sooner, I was just in Indian Lake last week. I plan to head back up sometime in September, will check out that trail off Chain Links Rd. Thanks for posting.
I put em on a few months ago and have had zero issues. The bracket gets installed under the hardware that the cover clips to, so it clips on just as securely as without it. It just sits a bit higher. No issues with water, and I have been doing a TON of highway driving to upstate NY and back...
Awesome, congrats! Hope all goes well. I just got the notice for the windshield but haven't brought it in yet.
The limb risers are from Gear Shade. Easy bolt on installation and quick disconnect design. I leave the brackets on all the time and just take the cables off when not in use...
Is this all that separates the capable bumper from tbe standard one? I have the standard bumper with fog lights on my truck. Could that plate be added behind and a cutout made for the shackles I wonder?
Same, I thought it would be slightly easier to add on afterwards.... and with the lack of space, 8 million sensors, was not what I anticipated. Have you seen the rough country hidden mount for the 2.7?
I have a soft top, my choice from the beginning. Have never owned any vehicle with a soft top before so I was anxious. Its definitely louder and took a little getting used to, however I couldnt be more happy with my choice. Have had it since January 22.
3/4 seasons im frequently at the beach...
I have an OBX 4Dr with Lux. I opted for the Sas, having only novicely driven trails prior. Not only am I super pleased with the overall look and stance with the sas, it had also lead me to taking some trails and adventures I may not have always had the confidence for. The ride quality is...
I just installed one on my 22 sas OBX last week, and it was INCREDIBLY tight, I couldn't imagine how these bolts were going to go thru. I just kept wiggling and trying from all sorts of weird extreme angles while pushing and they eventually went in. Then you have to back the bolt out just to...
I have to stress this is just a rough sample, but it fits well and also uses the factory hinge bolt. I just need to weld on a stop so it doesnt swivel with the hinge when you put it on.
