I would hope so. Both powertrains are surely capable. The Ranger is 7500lb towing capable withe the 2.3. Unfortunately, Ford has not released a finalized tow guide to us yet.
In all honesty, I would not be surprised if this all changes before launch. It is essentially the only real complaint. I know they are trolling the forums and concerned with the reaction. I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes available in all powertrains.
I don't know that for certain. I agree with the premise though, why would we need to pay more. hopefully, there will be clarity in August...This is when I expect the option price structure.
I agree. They will get the message I'm sure. So far this is really the only major complaint. The same thing happened way back when the F150 got its first crew cab. Ford did not offer the longer bed, people were upset and voiced it. Two MY later it was there.
The first edition and the wildtrack share the same graphics. The first edition steals the best shares and steals the best of all models. The first edition is also on the same wider track as the wildtrack.
supposedly there will be some soft top options for the 2dr at release as OEM aftermarket. I guess there may even be a freedom top style available around the launch. take it with a grain of salt. If not available immediately, trust me when I say, Ford is very focused on the aftermarket upfits...
