I remember seeing a thread about someone adding the AUX switches. They had to pretty much pull the entire front panel apart to do it. I bet you could post a thread saying will swap AUX panel for sunglasses panel and get a lot of folks that want to.Upfitter switch install
I use the same CAD system you do. It has done me well over the years.
I have to ask why you stayed up as high as you did from the base?
Did you find a panel and use it? Or do have a CNC and cut it your self?
Mike
I have been looking at the RC high mount winch after I figured out the lower mount one will not work for my Badlands 2 door SAS with capable bumper.
I don't do as much off roading as you seem to do. I hit the trails at Windrocks some times and not much else.
Is this good enough in your...
Where did you get the plate you mounted the relay to? Also what is mounted with it? I was looking for a clean space to mount it yesterday and really didn't see one. Thanks
I just downloaded it to my iPad. It only shows up th size as if it was on my phone. I would love to see it full screen on a tablet. I have cellar data and this would be a lot easier to see on a trail.
It will get better over time right now it is just out of Bata.
Windrocks is a great place to off-road. I did trail 22 in a stock 4 door OBX non sas. I got high centered once. I now have a Badlands Sas 2 door and can't wait to hit that trail again.
We have a local group of Bronco owners that try and meet up once a month at Winrocks.
Here is the link...
Thanks I saw this style while I was looking, just didn't understand the relay side of them. This has a picture of how to wire it as a relay. Now my old brain is happy because I understand. As for a dirty engine bay that is just part of the life style. Thanks
Alright I am trying to figure out which size relay to use to power a winch. Looks like I will be getting a 9.5K winch for the front. I want to power it off one of the AUX switches, so I will need a relay. The issue I am having is getting a real answer. I keep seeing isolators and new...
I am needing a set of mud flaps as well. I have a Badlands SAS package. I also have a lot of Ford Points I can use. Will the OEM flaps work on the SAS package? Will the Mabett flaps work on the SAS package. I know I will have to trim the OEM flaps to work. Any mod to the Mabett's.
Thanks
I was looking at the hidden winch mount, but after reading the instructions for the 2.7 and them saying it will not fit on the capable bumper I am thinking this might be a good option. So my question is pretty simple. It looks like it mounts to the shackle mounts. So I am guessing all you had...
How is the weather stripping holding up with the strap going across it in the front and back? I am thinking a pool noodle along the front and back edge so the weather stripping is not getting compressed.
So I traded my 4 door OBX for a 2 door Badlands SAS. I am wondering about doing a 1 inch body lift to it. What are the pluses and minuses of it?
I am keeping the stock rubber and wheels (the accountant isn't happy right now about the fast trade I did).
Thanks
Mike
I have a different experience with them. I have pulled stumps with them also got my Kubota BX23 out of a pretty good mud hole with it. I didn't have the bucket on so I could push myself out.
If the stump is too big I use a tree saver and a snatch block to lessen the load on the winch. The...
