I haven't heard back from them. I guess "Jenny" got fired and her two kids had to go live with their father. Now "Jenny" is working "John's" at the local truck stop to make ends meet. It's a cruel world out there.
So I was contacted by BA Offroad about my "negative post" regarding their products.
"Hi mpeugeot,
We came across your comments about Broaddict and wanted to connect. We truly value feedback as it helps us grow, and we’re sorry to hear you have concerns about our product quality and...
Just getting the passenger door replaced after getting hit at low speed was nearly 5G's. So, totalling a Bronco doesn't take much.
Time to put ol' yeller down.
But won't her new owners get mad if I wear her out and who's going to pay to maintain her then?
LMFAO.
Ya, I am going to run her through all the gears hard, do repeated neutral drops, and leave her dripping fluids in the car lot I first found her.
She was only driven back and forth to...
I would recommend new rims (17x9 +30 offset). You can get a 295/70r17 under it with no rubbing and no modifications from stock. Also you have a lot more tire choices in a 17 inch rim.
Well mine passed without the 50 minutes of heating up the engine, but that's likely because I never babied it. So even at 10k miles, it would not have needed the 50 min test.
I have usually been of the mindset of running a road tire and switching out for my off-road tires as needed, but I run more highway miles than most and tearing up good off-road tires predominantly on the street just isn't smart.
You could spin the Eibach Pro-truck 2.0 pretty low, but it's not going to be that low and honestly the Bilsteins are better on road than my Eibachs (Eibach is better off-road). Don't get me wrong, I am lifted 3 inches and it in no way feels unstable. It's just a little more floaty feeling, but...
You could run the Bilsteins from the Badlands non-sasquatch (it's a 1/2" of lift, by but handling improved on-road over the factory Hitachi shocks). You will notice the better handling more than the 1/2" of lift could ever reduce it.
Buy once, cry once. The WildTrak is HOSS 3.0, heavy duty steering rack, V6, and a year newer model. If it is a lux or high package, that is the one I would get.
