How else could a soft top work, especially with frameless doors?
Really, I personally just assume that would be how they all are.
Maybe I am naïve? Dunno....

I changed to A51 after seeing one in person. Originally I was worried that too many people would have a similar build. But in the end I could give a @#$% what others think, I'm getting the color I prefer most. :)

I was able to drive all 3 four door variants(2 different dealers). With the intention of buying an available 2.3mt. I sure am glad I did, because surprisingly for me, the only one of the 3 I now will not buy is the manual transmission version. I would purchase either of the other 2 of which...
I went and drove all the different powerplant variants myself. I was looking to buy the mt. So, I must respectfully disagree. The 2.3auto was great, the 2.7auto was great, the 2.3manual was not. Btw, I am simply recommending people to please go drive them before making the jump into the manual...
Please find a way to drive one yourself first before purchasing. I did, and unfortunately it forced me to take the mt off my build possibilities and keep my V6 auto build(I had hopes of speeding up my delivery date). Day and night difference, and yes, I have owned and driven many mts in my...
Agreed. Hard to believe it has 300hp. I was blown away how slow the manual was. So damn glad I was able to test drive it instead of buying the mt. Wheww......
I guess there's always the possibility you can get a tune and other mods to improve it. But stock, It's a tank.

I just drove both 2.3s. the manual is a complete dog. The auto was way easier to drive, and faster too. If I were buying a 4cyl. I'd go auto for sure. That's just me. I can't see people saying the manual is fast. I don't get it.... It's not. Any chance you can drive them? That way we you can...
I gotta tell you, I recently drove a 2.3 L manual(Badlands)and an 2.3L auto(big bend). Both were non squach. I've also driver the 2.7 a while ago. I have a BD 2.7 non-squach on order. The reason I drove the BL manual was because I had a chance to purchase it, with full expectations I would...
I think Ford has done a good job with their color choices. Only one missing in my mind is Tan.
The Sahara Sand Tan would be a great fit in their color lineup. Imo:cool:

Ya, doesn't really make sense. ITs like they are all in a hat, and they just reach in and pull a build out! ;).
Btw, I'm still waiting too, i assume its cuz of 2.7L??? Dunno...
Mike
Lol. My wife is on my case "get it with all the options you want, I don't want to hear you bitching about what you didn't get later".
I'm thinking, "well then you're gonna hear me bitching about how much money I spent, you choose?" 😉🤔
Mike
Weird how so many are trying to justify the 2.3 to save a couple grand on a ~50k truck! Also, gas mileage is so close that is not a valid argument either. You will always be second guessing yourself for the life of your ownership "I should have got the 2.7". Simply put... The single and only...
I've only needed the lockers in my last vehicle 3 time in about 5 years. But if I didn't have them I likely would still be stranded out in the wilderness living off berries and greens😉. For me they are required. And I'm not a huge off-roader. But risk it if you must.👌🏼
