Take a close look at the tread pattern of the sasquatch MTs. They are barely more aggressive than most ATs, even equal to some. That's why some call it a hybrid tread and why Goodyear is calling it maximum traction.
I've seen it and will get it. Imagine a spectrum where one end is the gray you see in B&P and the other end is the blue you see in most photos of A51 . It is left (gray) of center of that spectrum in most lighting and center to right of center in direct sunlight. It is never straight sky or baby...
The MTs on the Squatch are barely more aggressive than the General Grabbers on the stock BD, so with that and the 4.7 gears I'm not worried about how it will drive on the road.
What sealed the deal for me going Squatch was seeing the Bronco in person. I'm not a big tire guy, but the Bronco sits...
If you do the math with the available specs on height, tire size and such, the Squatch adds about an additional 1 inch to the height of a non Squatch BL. How that is achieved is not clear, but it does suggest the difference is in the suspension. It sure would be nice to have all of the...
The WT 2dr is the same length as BB and Base. Not sure what the 0.1 inch difference is on the 4 dr, but it can't be the spare as it is at least 2 inches wider than the Base and BB spares.
The difference is due to the Badland modular bumper and steel rear. The listed lengths do not include the spare. The spare tire widths are different for all 4 models listed.
I also prefer the BD standard lights and grill, but it's the interior orange accents that are keeping me away from the BL. They clash too much with area 51 exterior. I may just Squatch a BD but would prefer the BL suspension and 33s.
DIO not FIO! We'll see the list of 200+- (I'm sure there will still be some availability issues) options at the dealer. I was told that by a Ford rep and separately but the Rigid rep at Moab. Just take a deep breath and relax a bit.
I was there also. I had soured on Area 51 after seeing how sky blue it was in most or all of the photos we've seen on here. One look at it in person and I was sold. It is closer to the bluish gray that is on the colorizer and the B&P, and changes quite a bit as the lighting changes. The bluest...
