I got a call last week saying I was released too. I got really excited thinking that meant it left the yard. Turns out it just means it’s ready to go. Still not to a step in the right direction. Now get it out of the back row and on to a railcar.
To be fair I’ve seen them pop into obscure issue threads asking for VINs. However I’m not a ford fanboy nor am I defending how they are conducting business here. I would love if we actually got insight on what the heck is happening instead of just running on theories as to why we are all...
I finally decided to watch this thread. Somehow it’s a slight bit comforting that others are in the same situation as me. Misery loves company I suppose. @Trieck32 has been my go-to for major information updates because it hurts to keep looking every day. My thought is that when his arrives...
some fresh blue sticker builds sitting at our dealership. Meanwhile, @Trieck32 and I have completely built vehicles waiting to be shipped somewhere in the western hemisphere. Only $7,500 over msrp.
You didn't hit 88 MPH and lightning at the same time did you?
JK, I had that with my old jeep YJ and it had something to do with poor wiring and a faulty fuse. But it was also a jeep that had a shit show for wiring setup.
Nobody can tell us anything. His says shipped but no rail car info. Mine says awaiting shipment. Our expected deliveries keep getting pushed. When you get someone to look up our builds they're both released, no holds, also no tracking info.
Nothing like getting a 2022 in 2023. However fast forward to the week before I got the call that I have a build date and had they said “will you take a 2022 in 2023 if we can guarantee it comes in January?” I would have jumped all over it.
Are you guys planning on any sort of Black Friday deals? I saw a thread going around earlier but didn’t see your shop on there. I was curious what your plans were.
I'm sorry to hear this. You're not alone in your misery. Our build week of 9/19 is filled with people in your same situation. Meanwhile, we're seeing people in weeks after us getting delivered. Nobody can tell us why they're being held up, and in some cases, where the vehicles even are...
I even reached out to my friend that works for Ford Corporate to see what he can find out for me. He couldn't even tell me anything. Basically nobody knows what's going on other than this thing was built over a month ago and it's just sitting...just like so many builds last winter on...
