In case anyone’s curious, it’s called blend date because that’s when your Bronco is assigned a literal place in line on the assembly line since vehicles are not built in VIN order. Your Bronco build is literally blended into the assembly line. It’s also at this time when Ford has allocated all...
FWIW I called my dealership to tell them to add the tow package after I had already been scheduled. That was a week ago. The tracker still says I’m scheduled for week of 1/15. But the packages list did update to include the tow package. SAS could be a different story but AFAIK your VIN won’t...
Whether the dealer sells it to you at the original price is a different story, but you bet that whatever your MY23 was priced at the time of ordering, Ford is gonna reimburse your dealer the difference.
It’s price protection within the model year. Ford has been doing it for years and they...
Yea I never got an email from Ford with my VIN. I messaged Ford chat two days after I gave my dealer the spec for my order and Ford chat gave my VIN and gave me my scheduled week. Apparently I was scheduled the very same day that Ford received my order.
Yea every week that this comes out it basically confirms that Ford is not making manual transmission vehicles for dealer stock.
Ford is definitely building them for customers who order them. Mine for example is scheduled to be built 1/15/2024.
I guess it means that if that dealer has any unscheduled orders that aren’t raptor or heritage edition that her order will get scheduled before those.
order date: 11/29/2023
configuration: badlands 4dr, 7spd, lux, sas, hard top
Original production week: 01/29/2024
I just refreshed and my production week was moved ahead a full 2 weeks.
So my production week is now 01/15/2024
This is probably gonna come as a surprise to many since my bronco is not "easy" to build due to the hardtop, SAS, and lux packages. On top of that it's a manual transmission which it looks like they are only making manual transmissions for retail orders.
What might come as a surprise is that I...
From what I understand an order code generally is just a way for the dealership to prioritize your order among other orders that the dealer has made. Lower numbers are prioritized over higher numbers.
order codes between 10-19 are for retail orders (aka pre-sold, aka customer orders) and from...
Just walked into the dealership and placed my order.
Badlands 4-door
7 speed manual
Sasquatch
Lux package
Hard top
No clue when it will be built. The dealership I chose is high volume though, but given the spec I went with I’m prepared for a long wait.
I want to order a Bronco (Badlands, SAS, 4-door, manual, lux, hardtop), but I don't want to take delivery of it until the middle of next year. I'm thinking it's probably best to wait until next year to order.
What's the wait y'alls salesmen are telling you? Wondering if it would be wise to...
