like the table. Not sure which I’m going to add. But, I carry fencing pliers in both vehicles all the time so I can appreciate your effort. Barbed wire and farm fencing seems to always need repair.
The roof rack I have is the OEM from ford. I can take out the front 2 panels with the roof rack on. Just lift and slide Out sideways with just a bit of wiggling. Not a problem. I do not see anyway to get the rear/mid panel out with the rack in place. Just doesn’t seem to have enough clearance...
I hope your dealer is as good to you as mine is. Don’t give up. Push them for the right result.
Don’t give up.
It can’t hurt to approach them and ask. Nothing to lose.
Hopefully they’ll be receptive
So my dealer/salesman told me if you have the tow package (I do) get a cheap trailer wiring harness and cut off the connector and plug it in. Seems the bastardly start/stop is disabled if it detects a trailer?
Gonna try this.
Thought I'd share a seemingly rare outcome with a MIC top.
Ordered a stretch limo Badlands (4d,ht) with the 3/27 crowd; build week of 5/22, delivered 7/21.
When I went to pick it up the salesman told me right as I walked up that they had already ordered a new top. To say the least I was a bit...
Jeff,
Did you ever actually try to jump start it from either a battery/starter or vehicle?
Batteries can have a bad cell and still show "charged" but have no capacity to start the vehicle.
Just my 2cents.
There’s really no limit. A “compact” full set with sockets, torx, hex with other items as described is certainly great to have. But at the least (minimalist) a pair of large and small adjustable wrenches, small multi driver set with flat, philips, and torx, and a regular and needle nose vice...
^^^ this
everything I've read so far indicates you can't disable autostart-stop via forscan.
For those that have responded it worked, please elaborate/detail how.
Thanks
If you can find one of the install threads they show how the sto areas can still be accessed. Plus since there is a void created with the mounting platform you actually gain some added sto between.
Took mine off road the first full day. Turned off-road into a church parking lot. As I pulled in to park, got the front left tire slightly up on the curb. Didn’t have to disconnect the sway-bar, had plenty of articulation just as is. Flipped on the cameras and slowly backed down.
Very impressed.
