EDD changed to 3/5, but no ship date as of yet. I've called the dealer a couple times in the last week or so and no response 😂 . Maybe it already arrived and they sold it to someone else for all I know, ha! I'm going to swing in there later today to see what's up.

I also have a Ford Maverick on order (which is assembled in Mexico). They just put 40k units on hold due to a microchip shortage as well.

Yeah, lots of questions. Especially since they continued to build units knowing the chips were bad.

Only going to get worse at this point. My question is, did they not expect this current chip situation? Or, did they know it was going to happen but just tried to keep investors, dealers, and customers out of the loop to avoid panic. My money is on the latter, and it'll clearly backfire.

Looks like those with a Maverick or Sport on order are in the same boat. EDD of Feb being pushed to May/June 😐

This is unfortunately not just with Ford and the Bronco. My dad had ordered a new Acura MDX - chip hold, took almost a year with virtually no updates or communication from the dealer and/or Honda. And, no reservation status page(s) like Ford has set up w/ the Bronco rollout.

Same here. Mine is scheduled for delivery 2/28 to Santa Monica. Looks like we may be hitching a ride on the same train.

Yea mine was actually still live then went down shortly after the mods appeared.
