A big shout out to the respondents to the most invidious post Iāve seen in a while.! The OP is serious although somewhat unorthodox in his approach. I read all the replies and counted 3 or 4 to be put in the "snarky" file. The OP received remarkably sound advise and it appears he may have landed...
Yes sir. Sorta.! They had it 1 month before I saw it and it already had 300 miles on it. This is not unusual. Search "mannequins" in this forum. You will find many comments regarding dealers making this decision. I did not have anything to do with this common sense practice. Mannequins are...
Watching the video shows exactly how "TO" open the door (1st opening) and how "NOT TO" open the the door (Next 2 openings). Intentionally trying to beat the window motor can be accomplished.
WANT TO BUY: Complete hard top for 2021 4 door Badlands Bronco. Preferably with noticeable streaking on its exterior surface. Interior surface must be original and clean. Located near Dirt Mountain is OK. I will travel. Cash in hand no questions asked.!!
This is a safety feature that Ford engineers spent months developing. By design, most Broncos will be driven in the "wilds" and protecting wildlife was first and foremost on the minds of the development team.! Jeep owners must rely on Amazon to obtain this important feature.!
Congrats for getting one early but that needs some "splaining".!! All of us know that no dealer had a Bronco for retail that was not someoneās reservation/order. And the mannequins the dealers received had to be retained for 6 months so Iām extremely curious how you pulled it off.! šš
I do too.! And yes it is a common problem.! Our 2016 Explorer has the now infamous "leading edge", under the paint, corrosion on the hood. Noticed it this summer, 3 months after the 5 year "in service" date.! Still, I am a Ford man for life.! F ederal O wnership R espectfully D eclined.!
I don't think you would have to worry about Ford licensing if you just sold these as "CRONBO" emblems and let your customers sort 'em out.!
EDITED TO BE FUNNY AND SERIOUS AT THE SAME TIME:
I don't think you would have to worry about Ford licensing if you just sold these as "CORNCOB" emblems to...
For me the luxury of leather is way more important than cupholders. The last 5 new Fords I purchase were ordered with leather.! BUT, in the case of this purchase, namely a mannequin '21 Bronco, I had to take it or leave. Everything else on this jewel is perfect. Leather in a new Bronco means...
This thread is all history, NOW, but I will say that Iām disappointed with Ford choosing the "swept back" grill ends/headlight area. IMHO, the grill/headlights should have looked just like this.!
Thank you.! Thatās crazy aināt it.!? Iāve put a deposit on a mannequin that was spec'd exactly to my liking, but Iāve been telling myself that the $2300 for leather could have been left off.! Now Iām glad itās there.!
I wish that everyone posting shipping damage would include the transmission selection. Standard or auto. Iām just speculating there could be a connection. Does anyone else think the emergency brake is not easily mastered.?
These posts are making me even more comfortable with my decision to buy a mannequin! I've laid my hands on it, driven it and inspected it inside/outside.! 3 more months it's in my garage.! I must say the emergency brake is a little different than usual. Could be the reason for the runaway...
Damn, 5 pages of comments on China & social izzum.!! I wanted to read about a dealer with 5 unsold Broncos.! I locked in on a nearby dealer's mannequin spec'd to my liking. I get it in my garage the first week of January. Much quicker than ordering one this year. My deal is: MSRP, plus $499 doc...
You are correct.! Thumbing through a John Deere skidder/dozer/etc. service manual from the ā70ās you will not find the word "turbocharger"..! John Deere correctly referred to this device as the "altitude compensator".!
