  1. Long term reviews on Eibach Stage 1 and Stage 2 lift kits and my recommendations

In the pictures, it looks like only the rear springs are progressive, and the fronts are not (rear-only progressive in stage 2 - however, the same, rear-only progressive, appears for Icon, Fox, and OME). I guess a large part of the magic in the high-end kits is shocks/ struts with improved...
  2. Tire recommendation for 2 door, non-SAS Outerbanks?

Which size on your Bronco ? I'm trying to figure out the 18" rims as well.
  3. Non sas 2.7L badlands w 285 75 17

Yoko Geolander A/T GO15 LT295/70R18 Diameter of 34.4" and not a wide tread width. I discovered this brand for another truck where I wanted pizza cutters. The installer claimed the pizza cutters were too narrow for my rims, so I got exactly the same offroad specs from Yoko's with the...

Pizza cutters: https://stmtires.com/shop/continental/235-85r18-mo-premiumcontact-6/ I wonder if they would be too narrow for Bronco rims ?
  5. dealership upgrade to "built-in" nav ?

Thanks, that's pretty encouraging. For the cheaper Sync 3, they mention the requirement of changing the Sync/ APIM module. They don't mention that module change for the higher-priced head unit, which my Bronco came with, so I would guess the company can sell me a quick-and-easy software...

I bought one today, it appears not to fit

  9. 2-door tonneau ?

That's actually encouraging. We waited years for the Bronco, so we can wait years longer for the 2-door tonneau cover.
  10. dealership upgrade to "built-in" nav ?

The reason the economics haven't made me give up on built-in is that I'm not a fan of doing e-commerce, such as a map subscription, on a "smart" phone. Eventually, every "smart" phone will be hacked, so I try to do everything on a desktop, where it's easier to maintain and verify security...
  11. 2-door tonneau ?

Surprisingly difficult to find a rear tonneau cover for the 2-door ? I'm thinking, to avoid getting too much sun, it might be nice to only remove the rear hard-top, but leave the front-seat panels overhead. Then protect the rear from the elements with a tonneau cover, which only seems to be...
  12. dealership upgrade to "built-in" nav ?

Since FordPass 5.0 does not work on my iPhone 7, I got to wondering about whether the dealership could just reprogram my nav to be "built-in" instead of "connected" ?
  13. older FordPass app for iPhone 7 ?

5.0 requires iOS 16, which my iPhone 7 can't upgrade to. Anyone know if one of the older FordPass versions worked with iOS 15 ?
  14. Found a Locking Fuel Cap

Thanks for bringing this up. I was reading too quickly last night, so I bought one of these today, and it looks like it's not going to fit. In pictures, it looks like the older capless fuel filler neck used to be deeper. It seems the Bronco has a newer, flatter design that won't accept this...
  15. Non sas 2.7L badlands w 285 75 17

Just checked, those fancy 18" rims I was enthused about are harder to shop for than 17s. I guess I could take a chance on 285/75R18. If they're too big (close to 35), then the crash bar(s) are removable.
  16. Non sas 2.7L badlands w 285 75 17

Nice. On my jeep TJ I have an aftermarket front swaybar to improve tire clearance up front, so I'll have to take a close look at that.

    Awesome, good points, thanks !
  18. Non sas 2.7L badlands w 285 75 17

Looks like more than half an inch of clearance? 255/85R17 ?
  19. Non sas 2.7L badlands w 285 75 17

Would appreciate yours (and everyones) opinion: what do you think would be the max diameter without removing the crash bars? 34 or 35?
