Yup that's my favorite part about my setup too, easy to lean the bike against the tire.
It looks like I never posted the mods I did to my carrier in here.
I welded up extensions to my carrier to mount my bike binderz. Now loading and securing is under a minute.

I think that in combination with the zone lighting on a switch can make some really good night time camp site finders. That's basically what I use on my other rig to find camp sites, ditch lights with side shooters.
