    Measuring at the red lined spots, I have 0.411 at the top and 0.518 bottom on the passenger side and 0.355 top and 0.435 bottom on the driver side.

    Based on everything else I'm seeing here the face plates should be straight up and down. The horn itself seems to be fine, just the face plate deformed. I can see were the weld is parallel to the face of the frame horn, but the plate certainly isn't. It looks like a combo of pulling forward at...

    I appreciate that. It looks like LOD skips the OEM nut plate in favor of just washers and nuts so may I don't even need them anymore. Since I'm well on my way to being paranoid, I think I'll cut some of my own washers from heavy plate.

    Might be a lesson here in releasing findings after the investigation is fully complete.... So at this point I'm thinking I'm going to try to beat the face plates back to straight. It's only 1/8" or so so it should beat fairly easily. The nut plate even tried to pull through, it's all cockeyed.

    Well naturally I forgot my angle finder at work, but it's hardly needed to see what's going on. The tops of the plates are obviously pulled out and the paint is cracking.

    It's possible. Clearly most (maybe all) of the bend was in the mount ears, but this isn't settled yet.

    Yeah. MGV didn't care, but my 12" screen was super pissed and had a major freakout until it dried out.

    Holding pretty steady here, but I already paid way too much, 20% extra just for being in the wrong zip code. (I've gotten quotes using an address 5 miles away for 20% less).

    The milled piece is the OEM shackle tab, I can't speak to why it's designed that way but RC had to use spacers to work around it. I will look it over and report back.

    Just the relative flatness of each point, it should take any ground slope out of it. Say one measures 90 degrees, one 87, one 85, etc.
