@AARDVARK122 What preparation went into the roof painting. How was the MIC prepped? Primer, special fillers, sanding, etc? I guess it blows any warranty :rolleyes:

I took mine to the dealer for the tiniest hairline crack in removable passenger panel. Only two weeks old to me though likely was on lot for several months. 24MY Badlands. Dealer took pic and said Ford will replace that panel.

@ BroncoBill44 Ty for pics Do you have windows covered with Molle? What do you think about the roof screw fasteners? Would prefer more a smooth surface.

Mine is only two weeks old. I just noticed very fine cracking on passenger panel next to window. Problem with reodering '25 is that there is no Heritage limited and the Badlands only comes in 4 cyl.

Wow, thats pretty pricey. Sounds like it would be more economical to paint the roof. Do not think a wrap will work as well. Any idea how the reported MIC cracks and blemishes that have been reported fair with painting?

Ty fo the replies. Any idea of the price to order one from Ford ? I presume these are fiberglass and primed so easier to paint than the textured MIC?

Will a "replacement" top from a Heritage Ltd trim fit on a Badlands with an OEM MIC roof? Can it be ordered from Ford and will it require painting? Would it be more economical to paint my MIC roof?
