Model year designations are arbitrary, and if they are serious about this entire reservation, order, and a la carte system, that they are going about it the wrong way.
Sounds like dealerships are wanting vehicles to mark up, those with reservations are hoping to make a quick buck on eBay, and...
“So we knew that we couldn’t fill all the reservations, but we continued taking them for a month in the hopes that this somehow could mean more sales for us and our dealer network.”
lol
Clowns.
Not going to lie, anybody who can’t tell the difference between low range on the transfer case and the manual transmission probably shouldn’t be buying a vehicle such as this.
But I’ve never heard of it referenced to as a crawler gear outside of specially built transmissions where you swap out...
You can take the seats out of just about any truck, but there still will be mounting points and the floor will be lumpy, so you will probably have to put something there to make it perfectly flat.
An electronic ebrake that works with the discs negates the need for additional hardware and can be used as a HOLD/hill start feature for MTs or sequential transmissions. Porsches and Subarus have them.
Your dealer will have an 18 year old high school drop out blast the shit out of these with an impact wrench to 200lb ft.
I think wheels should be tightened by hand with a torque wrench, but impact saves time.
OEM is usually the most cost effective, not necessarily the best.
When it comes to 4x4s, I guarantee you that an aftermarket lift is vastly superior to OEM if you do your research and source the parts correctly--and then properly install them.
The problem with a new platform is there may not...
I would have to see how good the Sasquatch lift is and what kind of travel it has and what the clearances are.
Reading the forum has made me a little sad.
That's what I was afraid of, bigger tires don't mean much if your travel has been impaired by them, thus the bump stops.
And to get the bigger clearance and travel you're going to need weird CV angles, so I'm guessing they cut down travel as the easiest solution.
The extra High Clearance lift...
Anyone have a guesstimate on the Sasquatch price?
Looking at a base 2-door with that as the only option.
Will there be an option for a LT suspension ON TOP OF the Squatch? At least with the parameters of the IFS, CV axles, and ASB?
Most of the preproduction models running around don't seem to...
Quieter? Why be quiet?
It's not like SFPD are going to do anything if they hear or see a vehicle break-in, and all the city residents have already learned to tune out car alarms.
FJ was just a shortened 4th generation 4runner in a body shell that caused all sorts of visibility and passenger space headaches.
Looking at the early production models, the Bronco seems more well thought out than just throwing a cute body on a Ranger.
I mean since when does Toyota offer a...
