Thanks for posting this. I have a Base and keep recirculation mode on all the time to combat the high humidity we get due to our proximity to the Gulf Coast. When the outside temps drop into the 60s, the system will kick out of recirculation mode after 60 seconds, allowing damp air to blast...
I'm one of the lucky ones and my updates have never worked. I have everything set up correctly, but I haven't received an update in a year and a half. I'm afraid to mess with the settings and turn the auto update feature off because I don't want to upset whatever delicate balance of luck and...
That's the Bestop Trektop "dealer installed" factory option. It's the soft top with the slant back that a few of us aren't a fan of. You can order it when configuring your Bronco build (looks like a $2,600 option, now), but it's just drop shipped to your dealership and they put it on for you...
I want a soft top, but I'm just not a fan of the slantback look. After waiting on someone to release a square back soft top that folds all the way back, I gave up and just bought a Toplift Pro. It only takes about 10 minutes to fully remove the hard top, but it sucks because you're gambling on...
I was just looking at 4xe Wranglers because they're the only kind on any dealer lots around here and I was curious as to why. There may be 1 or 2 ICE and 10-20 4xe. They just don't move, especially since the $7,500 rebate stopped. Saw a dealership in Houston with a "market adjustment" on all...
I know that's a Photoshop because there's no way there's a late '90s Tacoma driving around SoCal without three first gen Tacomas hooked in behind it with "EN TOW" or "IN TOE" shoepolished on the trailing one's rear window.
Just to update my issue - After topping it off in January for a second time, my coolant levels haven't dropped again and I'm not seeing any more fluids on my skid plate. I'm guessing that the cooling system had air in it and it had to "burp" a few times to get it all out. The buildup on my...
Our local Ford dealership will do pickup and dropoff for any service, even oil changes. You simply schedule your service and let them know where you'll be - they drive a loaner to you, swap vehicles, and drive yours back. When done, they send you a notification and have a "pizza tracker" kinda...
Considering that none of those replies had the Goodyear MTs anywhere in their top listings and almost all ranked the Falkens as the best, I'd deduce that the Falkens are superior to the Goodyear Wrangler Territory.
The colored dots on the outside of a tire denote light areas and they're usually lined up with the valve stem because of the extra weight in that part of the rim.
My Discount said they tried indexing the tire a couple of different times and still couldn't get it any better than they did.
I can see that to a point, but my stock Goodyears didn't require a metric crap ton of weights to get the balance right and they were smooth as glass. As soon as I saw the amount needed for my KO2s I was shocked.
I bought KO2s a couple of months ago and my local Discount had the same balancing issues as you describe. They got it "good enough" without ever telling me that they were having problems and sent me on my way. 30 miles down the road, I was shaking so bad that I could see my hood vibrating. It...
I live west of Houston and we were in the Lafayette area visiting customers last year during a fairly rainy stretch. One of our customers is in Krotz Springs, so we hopped in our rental Equinox, fired up Waze, and set our destination. I thought it was odd that it showed us exiting in the...
I have a daily driven 2 door Basequatch and two kids, a 12yo and a 7yo. They're both big kids (oldest is already 5'9" with size 14 feet and the 7yo looks comically huge when he's in group settings with other kids his age) and they fit in the back seat just fine.
The difference in back seat leg...
I've had two JKUs ('12 and '16) and a 2020 JLU. I loved the JKs, but he JL just felt too "soft" with the rounded edges, touch screen, etc., and the ESS battery headaches were always in the back of my mind. My JLU also was also built in the short period where Jeep "upgraded" to the crappy...
Those hoop steps look great! They're so much cleaner than the factory boards and the fact that they can be popped off before offroading negates any issues with having something hanging that can catch on obstacles.
We haven't had rain in over a month. I tempted the gods by washing my Bronco AND taking the top off last weekend. Just as I finished unbolting my top for removal, a cool breeze started blowing from the north. All I could think was "aww F!" That was it, though. No rain, just mother nature...
