as an oldhead, this is how I have always differentiated it... Rim = metal, attachment point for the lugs Tire = the literal rubber that mounts on the rim Wheel = rim and tire combo but that's just me.

i can't argue with this much. to many black/white/grey vehicles on the road. cyber orange, HPR, EG, VB, etc are all stunning colors in comparison. I will give a pass on CarbGrey, in the bright sunlight that is possibly the nicest grey i've seen. FTR - I'm no fan of CactusGrey or A51 either...
