What's the deal with the warning about only removing the doors for off road use only as it will effect the safety systems. Does this mean we are going to have annoyances (over zealous safety systems) if we want to drive with the doors off just for the hell of it? or this just legal liability...

Do we think the models with wash out and no carpet will be a lot louder than models with carpet? I went with BD and now am second guessing myself, i have to think the carpet offers a great deal of sound deadening if it has padding under it? any thoughts?

Assuming a 12V system, I would need 41 amps to drive a 500 watt amplifier, so I assume an independent line would need to be setup...i should have done a little research before posting ;o)

Hmmm...so if you wanted to power an aftermarket amplifier I assume you could use one of these prerun wires, probably the one in the rear for the minifridge, to drive it rather than having to run a new wire for power? Sound feasible or is that a dumb idea? Any thoughts?
